Jinhyun slowly opened his eyes. At first his vision was blurry and he could not make out where he was. Panic set in again and he rubbed his eyes several times before he could see clearly again.
It was an unfamiliar place but he was lying on a large king sized bed. He tried to get up but realized his body was too stiff. Even lifting a finger took up a lot of his effort. Someone had taken off his shirt and also changed his pants, so he was lying there topless.
"Argh!" he grunted as he stretched his hands to loosen up his muscles. He repeated the activity with his feet until all his limbs were working again. Slowly, he got up and scanned his surroundings.
He was not in his bedroom but in a penthouse. It was not as luxurious as the one he previously had but was cozier. The three large windows overlooked the city but there was a balcony attached to it. Outside was a large jacuzzi and a small garden of potted plants, giving the place a homely touch.
