The pitch black darkness shrouded him in its blanket, not letting him go. Everywhere he looked, there was not a single hint of light. It was as if he had gone blind without any cause as he spun like a madman, desperate for a little light.
Where am I? He thought in panic. Was it a dream? Was it real? He no longer knew.
He opened his mouth to scream for help but to his horror, his voice would not come out. He tried to yell, but there was nothing but silence. The black world had also suppressed his voice, rendering him unable to speak.
I have to get out of here! He thought. His gut feeling told him that this world was not safe. He did not belong there and if he did not return, something awful was about to happen.
Putting his foot forward, he ran. And ran. And ran.
