When Sojin entered the house that night, Gojin was sitting by the fireplace.
"Where were you?" he frowned.
"I went out to shop for groceries," she lied. It was not fully a lie though since she did stop by to buy some vegetables on her way back from the press conference. Luckily, she was not spotted so she managed to lie casually.
"Have you seen the press conference on television?" he asked.
Sojin nodded. "I did, sir," she replied. "Yoona did a very brave thing to help them. Even put her own reputation on the line. It was really a bold move."
"I was so worried for her," Gojin admitted. "But I'm relieved! Shin Jinhyun cleared both of their names. His dating news was a shock but as long as Yoona is not harmed. That's all I care about."
"Where is she?" Sojin asked, scanning around.
"She's out there in the garden," Gojin replied. "She's watering the plants."
Sojin put the grocery bags down and headed outside.
