That evening, Yoona waited outside the practice room for Jinhyun, anxiously counting down the minutes when he would finally emerge out of his office. Meanwhile, Jinhyun was trying to reach Cherry over the phone but was unsuccessful.
"The number you are trying to dial is currently unreachable…" the automated voice kept on repeating. Jinhyun frowned.
"The hell?" he muttered. He was supposed to pick up Cherry on his way to the hospital but she was not answering at all. I should call Kahi, he decided. He searched his contacts' list and finally found Kahi's number.
"Hello sir," she greeted.
"Hi Kahi," he said. "Where is Ms. Wang? I was supposed to pick her up on my way to the hospital but she's not receiving my call."
"Ms. Wang had to go out of town on an urgent assignment," Kahi stated. "She said she's extremely sorry but she won't be able to make it tonight. Perhaps, you can try calling her tomorrow?"
