Semin opened her eyes. The white lights flashed brightly from the ceiling, almost blinding her. An irrational fear rose in her heart and she screamed.
Her screams made Suyeon and her grandmother rush into the room.
"What happened, my child?" Shinhye asked in concern. Semin looked terrified and hugged her, holding on to her as if her life depended on it. She broke down into tears, crying hard as the memories of last night came rushing into her head.
"Granny!" she wailed. She was crying so loudly that even Dr. Han could hear it from her chamber. She barged in to check on the girl.
"Semin, you're safe," Suyeon assured her. "That woman is gone! Don't cry."
He patted her back but she was sobbing more loudly. The fear would not leave her and it felt as if she would die any moment.
"Don't cry," Shinhye consoled her. "Shhhh…"
