Jinhyun was still on the phone with the investor. He had ventured far away from Joowon's vanity room in search of a network and was near a stairway.
"Yes, we will send you the details of the deal," he said. "CNQ will be taking around thirty percent only if the partnership is a success."
He finished his conversation and hung up the phone. He was about to turn away when he heard someone sniffing nearby. It was a deserted hallway and there was not anyone in sight. Was someone crying?
On an instinct, he followed the sobbing sounds and to his surprise, saw Yoona sitting on the stairs. She was startled upon his sight. Her eyes were red as if she was crying for hours and her face was flushed pink.
"I-I'll go!" she squealed and scrambled to get up but Jinhyun shook his head.
"Sit," he said. Yoona lowered her head and sat back, unable to meet his eyes. He sat next to her and asked, "What happened?"
