Cherry took a deep breath. "For the past twenty one years, I've been receiving an anonymous request to make lucky charms," she admitted. "And I have to send the charms to a person on the 5th of January. The request was to make sure that the delivery remained a secret and the receiver never found out about the sender's details. We used a special delivery company who pulled the strings and made sure that the receiver got the charms on time."
Jinhyun simply listened and said, "Go on."
"But this year, the sender had changed the request to a protective charm," she went on. "And the sender requested it twice which struck me as odd."
She inhaled sharply, her heart beating fast. "I think that receiver might be you."
There was a long stretch of silence as Jinhyun tried to process her information. The charms he received were delivered through Cherry?
"And did you...did you find out anything about the sender?" he asked, his voice cracking a little.
