For the next few days, Cherry's eyes reluctantly kept on wavering towards the apartment next door. Everytime she passed, she would sneak a glance at Jinhyun's house, hoping to catch a glimpse of him. She hated to admit it to herself but the man worried her. The arrest of Jang Jenna was a difficult task for him and the news media has been covering it nonstop for days. She even saw on TV how Jinhyun's office was swarmed with reporters, trying to talk to him but he was shut in his cabin.
As she passed by his apartment while on her way to work, she glanced at it. To her disappointment, for the umpteenth time, he still had not returned home. The newspapers were scattered outside the door and expired milk bottles were cluttered on the floor.
