The next thing James notices is a bright flash of light And then he jumps out of bed. James thinks to himself "uhg where am i? What happened?" That's when James notices something is off everything around him it bigger than it should be, That's when he relises that it is him who is shorter "What the hell?!" James shouts as he realizes that he is no longer in his body. That's when James remembered the harsh reality that just happened "I-I'm still alive?" "But I'm not me."
It took James a minute to calm down but once he did he began to relize that There was a stabbing pain in his side, he looked down to see an almost healed bandaged wound "is that previous owner of this body died?" James thought as he slowly looked around the room, and as he did he noticed a complete absence of anything modern day technology. There were oil lanterns on the halls of the wall which did a pretty good job of lightning the room. As James was admiring the room, he remembered that he recognized this room, but also didn't at the same time. It was a peculiar feeling that James was having before he relised that these must be some of the memories of the previous owner, he started took look aroud to see if he could remember more but just then
'Bang!'
The door flew open the the sight of a semi familiar women. "James!" The women cried as she came and gave him a big hug. That's when it hit him, this women was his mother. Or at least the other James's mother. James was never really fond of parents after his own had decided to abandon him, as he was thinking this the women began to squeeze James tighter. Almost on the verge of tears she cried "James your finally awake". In her embrace he began to remember what happen to the "previous" James, he could Remember being in the garden and then seeing a flash and then a sharp pain in his side. He instantly thought that it was an assasination attempt.
"But who am I for someone to want to assinaate me?" James ponders before he rememberd that he was the heir to the legendary Thunder clan.
Seeing that her son has not responded she called out again"James are you ok sweetie?" James snapped out of his stupor and finally spoke up "o-oh yes I'm fine mother" "oh thank the heavens your ok, When your father gets his hands on that assassin he will tear him limb from limb!"
James began to fully grasp just how much she cared for him, and she was frankly a little scary
