The auditorium was filled with students attempting to practice this technique that Simon had just showed them. Many of them ended up forming curves all over their cubes, making them seem more like putty rather than a real shape. Some weren't even able to condense their VP into a shape, and others were able to get it done relatively better on their first tries. By whatever it is, all of the students found themselves learning something that could change their perspectives on theory and practice.
The technique that Simon had demonstrated had managed to induce significant growth in most of the students, causing them to skyrocket in their VP quantities and quantities. By the end of the exercise, everyone but one student was able to create a satisfactory cube. As for that one student, Simon decided to take a look.
"Student, face me and tell me your name." Simon spoke to the slouching student.
"Fuck off. Like you can tell me what to do." It's Jack.
Simon hadn't seen Jack in a couple of days, and it turned out that he is the only person in the class that Simon could actually recognise from the novel, yet he was so obscure.
Clenching his fist, Simon pouted. "Jack, why haven't you completed he exercise?"
"Cuz I don't want to." Jack responded in a mocking voice.
"Okay, fine." Simon gave a faint smile as he took out a cellphone from his desk. While it was a school provided cellphone, he still had to resort to use it. He didn't want to be exposed by using his own phone after all.
"Admissions Office-"
"WAIT! I will do the exercise... please don't expel me." Jack shouted.
"Good... good."
While Jack began to try out the exercise, Simon had already begun his lecture on fundamental visionary laws.
The laws covered were of little value to him at the moment, since he had already moved past most of these laws upon reaching Master rank, but to the students, these laws were groundbreaking and extraordinary in profoundness. Even Jack, who was condensing shapes, tried his best to listen in on what Simon was saying.
"Law 1 can be better interpreted to include the usage of not just electrical power, but natural power and weight power. Training with weight and absorbing other powers can increase your VP. When paired with visionary art such as paintings, training becomes much more efficient and quick. A better way to train would be to use the exercise that I have just taught you all, but condense the scene of the visionary art that you are observing. Doing so will train your VP quality and quantity, as well as your control."
Each one of Simon's words were frightening to hear, every single one was so powerful that students began to record the lecture out of fear of missing things when writing. The whole auditorium became quiet as all eyes were on Simon.
"That's the end of the laws explanation, so let's move on to the 3 visionary branches. The branches are the Warrior Branch, the Mage Branch, and the Ranger Branch. Each of these branches split off into more branches, for example, I am a Ghost of the Ranger Branch. Ghosts specialise in not just stealth, but deadly visionary attacks that deal crippling damage using daggers. This may just sound like any other assassin type branch, but to be a Ghost, one must have an incredible level of durability and regenerative capabilities."
Simon already entered those capabilities into the identity, giving him the ghost qualification as the best option. As such, Peter White could now be consider to have a very high standing as a visionary.
"Before I end the session, I might as well inform you all that sessions will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Make sure to show up on time, I don't appreciate tardiness. Dismissed." With that, the session came to and end.
"Prof, after what you have just taught us, who would want to miss out?" A student at the front said.
"Yeah, only an idiot would give up on a chance to listen to your lectures!"
"This was an amazing lecture! If I could, I would skip every other class and only devote my time to these lectures and reviewing them!"
"I learnt so much, can't wait to try it out tonight!"
The bulk of the class exited after talking amongst themselves gleefully. The majority of students were talking about forming study groups to better analyse the lecture notes, and others were already heading to the library to do just that. Only a single person besides Simon remained.
"Prof... I finished the exercise." Jack spoke in a sad voice.
"I am sorry for doubting your knowledge..."
"It is fine, but you must continue to work hard. I expect great things from you, Jack!" These words hit Jack at his core, making him feel shocked and happy. Somehow, some professor that he had just met, had taught him how important theory could be, and treated him with dignity even though he had been incredibly rude. Feeling thankful, Jack left the auditorium with a tear flowing from his left eye. For the first time in his life, he felt respect for an adult.
As the room became quiet, Simon gathered his belongings and disappeared from sight, only to appear in his dorm room.
'Minor teleportation. Something that I just found out that Master ranks can do. It might only have the range of 2 kilometres, but that's good enough!'
*sigh*
'Working as a professor sure seems fun, but it's so fucking tiring for me!'

"Vice-principal Feng, we have tracked down the student that you were looking for. He is Simon Grey, an aristocratic youth. He belongs to the C-class of 1st year. What shall we do sir?"
"Invite him to my mansion, I'll have him meet my niece. It is best to attract youths while they are still mouldable. I will make a great man out of him, and Haven will definitely benefit! The old Principal is still waiting for me to find a disciple, I can't keep him waiting!"
