[Violet Rose: Grey, is that you?]
Simon fell to his knees and brought his eyes' attention towards the holographic screen in front of him.
[White Rose: Grey?]
[White Rose: (@EVERYONE) Get on chat.]
[Black Rose: Grey, welcome back to the fold.]
A flurry of messages came forth, filling the screen with many words of welcome and surprise alike. The unfamiliar chat room quickly became familiar in Simon's head as he began to remember a few small details about this group. These details did not completely let him remember who he used to be nor what this group is, but he managed to regain a few pieces of knowledge.
"I am Grey Rose... A member of Rose Guild. I was lost after a bang." Simon recalled to himself. With the motion of his right index finger, he opened up a keyboard system and typed a message into the chat room.
[Grey Rose: Hi...I am very sorry, but I do not really remember this place nor the people here.]
[Red Rose: Neither did we...]
[Blue Rose: Shush Red]
[Blue Rose: Grey just woke up a few minutes ago. Of course he wouldn't know what all of this sh*t is about.]
[Red Rose: So why don't we tell him?]
[Black Rose is typing...]
Simon was again barraged by a swarm of messages from a variety of people. Each one of these people tried to interact with Simon but ended up filling his screen with illegible script. Even with him concentrating on trying to read everything, Simon could only retain a few words at a time because of slight mental strain.
[Black Rose: This is completely normal. The guild is nowhere near as large as it used to be. Around 10k years ago, we used to control one half of the Upper Realms. Now we only retain a mere 1% of the Upper Realms. The reason for that?]
[Black Rose: We had to expend a Temporal Matter Essence to save the guild from certain annihilation. As to why? White will explain this one.]
[White Rose: We were at war with the Reaper Guild. We ended up nearly losing our only chance at a High Seat because they bombed our main stronghold while our leader (Gold Rose) was ascending into Limit Breaker stage.]
[Black Rose: Because of this, we lost our territory and our guild. But before they destroyed us, Silver Rose activated the Temporal Matter Essence and secured all members' escapes.]
[Blue Rose: That is basically how we ended up here. The only reason we know about any of this is because of a recording at the hidden base from Silver before we got sent into dreamland.]
[Red Rose: Anyways... what level are you at? (@Grey Rose)]
Simon quickly found himself back at his attributes page; a place where he hadn't looked at voluntarily since he awoke as Simon Grey.
[Grey Rose: Major Evolution stage.]
[Violet Rose: F**KKKKK]
[Blue Rose: Don't worry about her... she got woken up as a slug in the Mortal Realms. Luckily Black managed to high-tail her out of there, otherwise we would have had to wait for her to climb out for thousands of years. It's tough starting off at the Minor Strengthening stage]
[Grey Rose: That sounds rough...]
[Violet Rose: you are damn right it was. But it's probably not as bad as losing your hubby for 10k years. Pink Rose must be fuming at herself for not waking up yet.]
[Blue Rose: shhh! Grey hasn't processed everything yet. Give him a day before hitting him with too many bombs.]
[Violet Rose: You're right... it's just lonely with there being only 2 girls here. Pink was really good at livening the mood too.]
[Black Rose: In any case, Grey, we need you back at the Upper Realms soon. I would use a TeleCrystal, but we only got five left. We still have around 15 members unaccounted for, so if you are able to find maybe one or two more members, we could use one to pick you up more efficiently.]
[Blue Rose: Hey, if White didn't assume that those crystals were one time use, we might still have 10.]
[White Rose: I'm sorry K... how was I supposed to know that those things could be used twice? It's common knowledge that consumables work once usually.]
[Blue Rose: Read the damn descriptions!]
The chat became a lively hub of chatter and nonsense. It felt like a family of long lost brothers and sisters had just reunited again, filling the atmosphere with warmth and happiness. Simon did not feel so confused now, he just felt like he was missing out on something. He wanted to escape from this place and somehow make his way back to his 'home'.
"I want to be part of this too."
FLOP
Simon fell to the ground, unconscious. The strain of the day had taken too much out of him.
