"No need." Qin Nanyu's thin lips parted slightly, a sharp glint flashing in his deep black eyes, as he stepped past the butler and out of the study.
As he descended the stairs, all the servants in the living room were present. Standing at the forefront was the nanny responsible for caring for Qin Morui. After discovering the young master was missing, she had been in a constant state of panic and unease.
Seeing Qin Nanyu come downstairs, she was the first to step forward, eager to kneel down and ask for forgiveness.
Qin Nanyu frowned, instructing the butler to help her up.
"The young master just returned to the country not long ago, and he's never left the house alone. If something happens..." the nanny said with reddened eyes, filled with self-blame.
Hearing her words, Qin Nanyu raised his head, his indifferent gaze sweeping over everyone in the living room, then he spoke slowly, enunciating each word.
"Today's incident is just an accident. I won't hold anyone responsible. There's no need to search for the boy; he won't be lost. Everyone return to your posts and continue working as usual."
"..." Everyone was surprised, yet no one dared to ask further questions.
The people in the living room quickly dispersed.
The butler, having just received the surveillance footage from the security, reported on the side.
"Young Master Yu, the guards have already checked the villa's comings and goings within these two hours, confirming they didn't see the young master leave through the front gate. The courtyard walls are so high, could the young master have left through the back gate?"
After he finished speaking, even the butler found it inconceivable.
Before Qin Nanyu returned to the country, he had already ordered the back gate of the Qin Family Villa to be sealed.
Adults couldn't get out, let alone a four-year-old child.

Before the butler could finish his sentence, Qin Nanyu had already strolled out of the living room, circled the courtyard, and then headed toward the main gate.
Walking to an obscure part of the outer wall of the Qin Family Villa, he crossed his arms, leaning against the wall, and waited quietly.
The butler was baffled.
"Young Master Yu, this wall has been heightened; the young master couldn't possibly climb it. Does waiting here even help?"
"Shh—" Qin Nanyu pressed a long finger against his thin lips, signaling for the butler to be silent.

Ten minutes.
When nearly half an hour had passed, a rustling sound suddenly came from inside the wall.
The butler was so tense he didn't dare to breathe, craning his neck to stare at the tall wall until it ached, yet he saw no sign of anyone on it; instead, he heard a strange noise.
It sounded like a small wild dog squeezing through the bushes nearby.
Before the butler could react, a furry little head poked out from the undergrowth at the base of the wall.
Next, two small hands extended, pressing on the ground, deftly maneuvering a soft, cuddly little body. In the blink of an eye, a small boy crawled out from within the wall.
The little boy hadn't expected his actions to be observed by the two pairs of eyes not far off. He was busy shaking the weeds off his little suit, preparing to proclaim his victory. In the next second, a massive shadow suddenly loomed over him.
Accompanied by Qin Nanyu's mocking voice, "Is crawling through a dog hole fun?"
