Chapter 9 - Funeral

"You never told me how you knew that black girl"

Awwwwww!!!!! don't drag my ear, am saying the truth.

Oliver said trying to run away from Samantha, while rubbing his left ear that Sam was pulling hard.

"Am not saying" Samantha retorted,

but we are going to the funeral or am not applying for college. Better choose wishly she threaten.

Although Vivian knew she had the best qualification from SALL, she doesn't have the proof just the knowledge so she still needs to go to college.

"You win okay, just stopising underhanded means to get things done" Oliver answered her, after pretending to be thinking of which option to pick.

Hugging him from the back

"You are the best bro she happily said to him".

Now what do we tell mum and dad, Sam asked giving her best puppy face

"Just reserve that you will tell Grandpa, cause as far as I know,he won't let you go that far just for a burial"

"I will take care of that side, just convince mum and dad".

I will come up with something, don't worry too much. just know that you will be going to any college I chose for you. He smiled afterwards.

" You are more cunning than I am" she said frowning at the fact that she lost her right to pick form for the college of her choice.

"Either that or am not coming"

" Good, don't back down now, we are going there. Keep the right to choose " she said raising her hands to show she surrendered.

Arriving the international wing of Muhammad International airport, Oliver wearing a navy blue tux, holding hands with Sam who was visibly shaking at the thought of going to her own burial, she was wearing a long black full length gown, with the latest givenchy bag, they both walked him.

straight to the cemetery they went, where she saw Erica crying profusely and her mum consoling her, the bitterness in Vivian's heart was too pronounced.

When the priest gave his prays and blessed the deceased family, her corpse was lowered to the grave, sand was covered and the people left the graveside.

Let's hurry and greet the family and head back to the hotel, am not comfortable in this place Oliver said, still looking at the changes in Sam

They is no need to greet the family, she did not have any, don't be deceived by those fake tears she scolded her brother.

" I thought we came all the way down here to sympathize with the family" Oli said giving her a weird look, and continued speaking "like why waste that much if we won't even say hello to the family of the deceased???

You though wrong she responded not looking at his face, just looking at the graveside that was now empty. Thinking of how shameless her uncle and his wife are, having the guts to come and pretend tears especially that Erica when she was the one who poisoned her food, shameless people.

Unknown to Sam, Oliver is observing the changes in her facial expressions, one minute she is smiling, the next minute the frown on her face can kill someone.

Still wondering how his sister knew that girl because he has never seen that girl with his sister. At least the few friends she hangs with when not causing mischief online.

And come to think of it, Samantha has greatly changed, from the Sam that he knew.

Before the accident, his sister was always living with her computers, hacking top official files and hanging out with the twins, now she is mostly hanging out with him always and he can't deny her, she prefers his company which she never liked.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the attention and time, but dude I want privacy!!!!!!!!!!!!

He screamed in his head.

Yeah Sam, has Emily called you yet? we chatted last night and I told her you woke up.

What????!!!!!!!, when did you start chatting with Emily she shouted loud, before realizing that she had screamed at the graveyard.

Is it a crime to chat with your girlfriend? Oliver asked with a shock expression.

Giving him her million dollar smile, she said no, please do enjoy yourself. I will always support my brother, stepping to hug his hand.

Finally, something good is going to happen she thought.

Connecting their hands, they both walked from the graveyard into a black SUV that was waiting for them the whole time.
