Susan got more curious and so she followed the staircase and entered a nice living room separated from the one she came from. It seemed like she entered a different house completely because it had basically had everything a house should have. Bathroom, main room, guest room, etc. She wanted to continue exploring but she felt that it wasn't polite at all to Eric and his mom and whoever was living in this house. Her other thought about why she shouldn't keep poking her nose into this was because this wasn't her house and they may not want anyone to know about it that was why they built it like that.
As she turned around to leave...
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"
She saw a middle age man who seemed to be in his early fifties behind her which startled her.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to intrude. I just saw a staircase and I thought it was the way to the living room so I came down" Susan explained really fast. "But it doesn't seem like it is the living room. Is it the living room?" she continued quietly now.
"It's alright" the middle aged man answered. while smiling at her trying to look less mean than he usually looks "You don't have to be nervous. This place was supposed to be a secret from people but not you."
"Oh, and why is that and who are you? What are you doing here?" Susan looked confused. As Susan was wondering why she could know the secret, she saw Eric and his mom who was holding a mirror in her hand walk to her.
