Later at 6 am in Crisan's home, Munro and Tori were done with assignments, and was just relaxing in the room and the music in Crisan's tablet was still on. Crisan was still painting and her hair was tied in a messy bun, Munro took out his camera and he stood next to her then decided to take a photo of her from behind her while she was still working, "say, cheese!", he said aiming the camera at her. Crisan of course didn't expect that so she turned her head to him then click! the photo was finally taken just like that, she looked dumbfounded then just softly glared at him.
"Nice", Munro said when he looked at the picture, "okay, just continue painting", and Crisan did, she got used to Munro taking pictures of anything since he was an aspiring photographer and as a close friend, she was being supportive. Munro kept taking photos of her on different angles, Crisan even added some poses and funny faces which he didn't mind since it was just a relaxing time. Tori was just reading Crisan's book 'Eternal With You' and was sitting on the bean bag again and Munro then turned to her and took some photos of her too, she didn't seem to mind as well.
"Make sure to take my good side", Tori jestered to him then after some nice poses by just pretending to read, she even gave some silly looks in front of the camera then Munro stopped taking some shots and stood at the side and she notice something by the corner of her eyes she noticed the self-portrait of Crisan that was painted by her favorite artist, Tori has been going to her house several times since they were kindergarden and she knows she never seen that painting so she puts down the book andshe walked closer to the painting and started to observe it, "Crizzy", she called.
"Yes?", Crisan quipped while still painting so her focus was still on the easel.
"Did you made this painting?", Tori asked, Munro even stopped what he was doing and wanted to see what she was talking about and saw the painting, he became intruiged so he puts down his his camera carefully and walked to the painting and was wowed by it.
"This is amazing!", Munro said, Crisan puts down the brush and turned to them, she watched how they were admiring the painting of her.
"Oh! yeah, my dad sent it to me from his trip to Europe", Crisan answered, Tori then looked closer and noticed something on the painting and it was her signature then gasped, she was trying to utter a sound and pounding Crisan's bed, Munro wasn't sure what was happening.
"Shut up, Madame Emel painted this!?", Tori shocked.
"Yep", Crisan confirmed.
"How?", Tori asked still in disbelief.
"Dad saw her in the plane they talked and told her that I like to paint too and I'm not sure how but she did that painting for me", she excitingly explained to Tori.
"Oh! my God!", Tori exclaimed.
So who's Madame Emel?", Munro asked them, then the two girls looked at each other then at him.
"She's an artist based in London, her works are quirky and whimsical", Crisan explained to him, he looked at the painting again, "she even gave me some painting stuff too".
"Lucky.." Tori replied.
"Her style of work is very alluring", Munro commented.
"Let's recreate this someday with a photoshoot", Tori suggested to them.
"I think you read my mind, I was about to suggest it", Munro said to her.
"Sure, I'd like that", Crisan agreed to it.
"Hmmm... I'm too chill to discuss about it now thought", Tori moaned as she dropped herself on Crisan's bed.
"That's okay, but anyways I have modelling gig for the next couple of weeks on Saturday", Crisan let her know.
"It's fine, I'll be with my grandparents by that day", Tori said.
"So who are you working with?", Munro asked Crisan.
"A guy name Russell DM'ed me in instagram", Crisan said,
"Russell Kaz?", Munro asked.
"Yep", Crisan answered, "you know him?".
"Yeah, we used to go to this workshop with him", Munro answered, "He and I and actually other fashion photographer, we like to talk about our works so at time I talk about you being mostly the subject of my works".
"Oh okay, I just want to make sure he's not some you know...", Crisan said.
"No, no,", Munro assured her, "he's cool, don't worry about it".
"Okay", Crisan was convinced, "I'll take your word for it", Thelma then appeared by the doorway.
"Hey, guys!", Thelma called them and they all looked at her, "dinner is almost ready".
"Thanks! mom", Crisan said.
"Thanks, Mrs R", Tori and Munro said to Thelma. Later, everyone was in the kitchen including Thelma and Marcus eating by the island, "so have you guys been working out for the marathon?".
"No, not yet", Munro shook his head.
"Me too," Tori said, "but we talked about it and we'll go running every Saturday".
"Just don't push too much and don't go more than five laps", Thelma advised them.
"Got it!", Tori and Munro said simultaniously.
"It's weird how Reds is infested right now, Crisan and I just went there last night to dessert", Thelma wondered.
"Wait...", Tori interrupted, "you two went to went for a long run then had dessert at the end?".
"We were training not dieting", Crisan defended with jester then everyone laughed. Minutes after, everyone finished eating and Thelma picked up their empty plates then puts them in the dishwasher.
"I'll just fix myself in awhile so you two get ready and make sure you don't forget anything", Thelma said to them.
"Okay", Tori and Munro replied to her then followed Crisan back to her bedroom to pack clear some of their things.
"Phone, check. Charger, check. My essay, check", Tori said while putting her stuff in her school bag.
"My notebook is here and my camera too", Munro said, he closed his bag and carried it then they all went outside and just waited for Thelma. Crisan and Tori smirked at each other since they are excited to ride the Porsche, Munro looked at the two girls and was still clueless, "what?", the garage door opened and the three of them watched the Porsche slowing moving out of the garage, Munro's jaw dropped and his eyes popped out just looking at the coolest car he ever saw in his life. Thelma opened the window dramatically and winked at them.
"Let's go?", Thelma asked them, Munro suddenly came back to reality but still stunned.
"Get out, this is our ride home?", Munro shocked, Thelma nodded in response,The three ladies were laughing at his reaction then took out his phone, "can I take a picture of myself with it?".
"Sure", Thelma answered, "let me just get out first", she got off the car and stood beside Crisan then Munro gave his phone to Tori.
"Tori, take a picture of me", Munro requested to her then dashed to the Porsche and stood at the side then gave a cool pose, Tori aimed the camera at him and then there, she took it.
"Try to look like you own it, like sit on the hood", Thelma directed, Munro took her advice and he sat on the edge of the hood of the car then pose, "there you go", then Tori shot him.
"Got it", Tori said, then walked to him and showed, Munro looked at the photo and seemed satisfied by how she took.
"Nice, thanks, Tori", Munro thanked her, "we can go", They got in, Munro was sitting shotgun and two girls were at the back, Thelma got inside the house to let Marcus know that they'll be back shortly, then she walk back to the car and sat on the driver seat.
"Let's take a selfie inside", Tori suggested, everyone agreed so she took out her phone and hand it to Munro then placed on the dashboard, it was in selfie mode, everyone put on a smile, then gave a some fierce and then funny faces then they're done, "awesome!".
"Wear seatbelts", Thelma told them and they did, then she started to drive. Later that same night, Gage was in his bedroom practicing his lines for the skit, but felt frustrated by it then his phone buzzed so he stopped practicing then he looked who it was and it's Courtney texting him to call so he did.
"Hey! Courtney what's up?", Gage called.
"Not too good", Courney complained feeling upset, "mom was going on and on and on about my grades and I did not prioritize my studies".
"So what else did she say?", he asked.
"Well, here's the thing, I can't train for marathon because I can't go out, period", she explained, "I'm grounded".
"So what about our rehearsals?", he quipped, "did you tell her dad
"Yeah, I can't go to Dave's house or anyone's house", she said.
"What about me and Dave go to your house?", he suggested.
"Don't you think I asked that, she still said no to that too", Courtney said.
"Oh! God", he exasperated.
"I'm sorry", she apologized.
"It's okay", he sighed, "let's just keep practicing our parts, so are you going to tell Mr. Gordon that you won't be in the marathon?".
"Actually, my mom said if I get my grades up then I can be in the marathon", Courtney said, "I'm just not allowed to do anything aside from doing anything but getting my grades up".
"That's great", Gage reacted seeing that there was hope.
"Easier said than done", Courtney said feeling at lost, "I'm failing".
"Well, just ask for extra credit", Gage told her.
"Yeah, you're right!", Courtney said to him but she sounds hesitant and Gage noticed it.
"What's wrong?", Gage asked.
"I got humiliated by my mom in front of everyone", she pointed, "I don't know if I want to show my face to school tomorrw".
"I don't think anyone would even care about it", Gage said.
"You think so?", she moaned.
"Okay, if anything happens, I got your back", he assured her.
"Thanks! Gage", she said, feeling relieved by his words.
"Just try to talk to the teachers tomorrow for extra credit", Gage reminded.
"Okay, I will", she replied, "I have to go, I'll see you tomorrow".
"Alright, bye", Gage said then puts down the phone and sighed, he was feeling stress knowing he can't rehearse properly without her then he texted Dave about Courtney's problem then right after he was about to rehearse again his phone buzzed again, Dave answered his text that said not to worry and they'll talk about it tomorrow. The morning day, Gaga, Courtney and Dave were just by the hallway sitting by the corner.
"So how are you feeling?", Gage asked her feeling worried.
"Still embarrased by what happened yesterday", Courtney whined.
"So these past weeks your mom didn't know you were failing?", Dave asked.
"Try telling your parents that you're not doing well in three subjects", Courtney replied to him.
"Dave, she doesn't have it easy", Gage defended, Dave just understood her situation.
"Apparently, our gudiance counselor called her yesterday", Courtney explained.
"So what happened in the principal's office with you and your mom?", Dave wondered.
"That my scholarship is at stake and that I was kicked off the swim team", Courtney sighed, "the point is it's bad".
"You can do this", Gage assured her, "let's do our best in our skit and fix the Colosseum and let's see what you can do from there".
"Speaking of fixing the Colosseum...Dave", Courtney glared at him.
"It's going well, don't worry", Dave assured her but the back of his neck was starting to sweat, "maybe, you should do the written work".
"Written work?', she quipped looking rather clueless.
"Yeah, the written work about the Colossuem", Dave pointed out.
"We have to do a written work about it?", she questioned, Gage and Dave looked at each other then at her realizing that she never knew that there should one.
"Yeah", Gage clarifed, "you didn't know that?".
"Uhmmm no...." Courtney replied, she felt stunned that were more work to do.
"Well, lucky for you I started just one paragraph until I accident ruin the Colossuem so you can work on it from there", Dave said.
"What should I write about?", she asked.
"Wow! you really had no clue", Dave chuckled.
"What was that?", she angered.
"Nothing", Dave replied out of fear.
"Just write about some facts about the Colosseum and place it in a binder", Gage explained to her.
"Alright, I can do that", Courtney said to them then the shool bell rang.
"Let's talk again later in Recess", Gage said to them, "come on, Courtney let's go to class", Gage and Courtney walked together to their class, Dave went to the opposite direction. In St. Rebecca's, the girls were P.E class and unlike other schools, it was not that stressful and they are all wearing their PE shirts, other girls would wear it with short and others wear leggings or jogger pants. The students were playing tennis outside behind the school building and they were enjoying like it was not even a class, Crisan and Tori were playing against each other and were having fun, Crisan wasn't still hurting as much as yesterday. Their coach, Mr. Bart, a middle-age man with grey hair that are standing up with a dadbod wearing green and gold sweatshirt and jogger pant with a cap on his head was just observing them and writing something down on a clipboard, he then took out his whistle and blew it, all the girls stopped playing and looked at him.
"Okay, girls, great job", Coach Bart said to them, "ten minute break then partner, you'll playing two against two". All of the girls move to side by the bleachers where they placed they bottle of water or just drank in the water fountain, there was a face towels provided by the school so they wipe their sweat off first.
"That was fun", Tori said, the students turn
"Yeah", the other girls, including Crisan, agreed while starting their break.
"So Valerie, Sasha, Martha, are you guys coming for the marathon?", Crisan asked the other three girls who were also a member of Mr. Gordon's running club.
"I am", Sasha answered her.
"Not me", Valerie shook her head.
"I'm not able to join too", Martha said, "Valarie and I have student counsel stuff to deal with".
"Oh, right", Crisan remembered.
"So Sasha, Crisan, and I will be training every Saturday starting this weekend in her place, do you wanna join?", Tori asked.
"Thanks but maybe some other time, my sister will be participating too so she and I will be training around our house", Sasha said to them.
"I heard there were new member", Valarie said.
"There are, there are still similar faces but most of them are new", Crisan explained.
"Recently, I joined the hiking program with Laura before she move to England and then I stopped joining the club", Martha said her side.
"I think a lot has changed but at least we're still welcome", Tori said.
"Mr. Gordon is kind man anyway", Sasha pointed.
"He is", Crisan agreed the suddenly, Coach Bart blows the whistle again.
"Break is over, back to the court, girls", he called them, the girls put down their towels and water bottle then ran to the tennis court. Later, in the locker room, the girls half of the girls and Tori were having a shower, the other half including Crisan were putting on their school uniform, they have thirty minutes left then it was lunch time after that. Someone turned on their spotify and it was an old song 'Wake me Up Before You Go-Go', everyone who were out and still fixing themselves were starting to feel the music then danced to it. The other girls were out of the shower wearing bathrobes were singing along to the song.
"Who's playing it?", Tori asking by chuckling.
"Ayla", Crisan answered, doing a light dance while combing her hair.
"You take the grey skies out of my way, you make the sun shine brighter than Doris Day...", sang the other girls.
"It's like having a mini-party", Tori said as she dance a little while changing into her uniform.
"Come on, baby, let's not fight, we'll go dancing, everything will be all right", everyone chanted, "Wake me up before you go-go, don't leave me hanging on like a yo-yo, wake me up before you go-go, I don't want to miss it when you hit that high" and then joyfully move their body and jump around and just laughed around with each other. Later, once they were done at their mini-party in the locker room, the girls got out wearing their uniforms carrying their sports bag, talking to one another as they walk back inside the school building then they went their seperate ways since it's lunch time, Crisan and Tori walked together to their lockers to put their sports bag inside.
"Thank goodness, my legs are not that sore anymore", Crisan said, "can't imagine, not playing tennis".
"I was worried that you might trip or something", Tori replied to her.
"Although, I did had a hard time running back there", Crisan thought.
"At least you'll be okay to work tomorrow", Tori said.
"Yep", Crisan answered with a smile, "P.E makes me hungry, I hope there's Carbonara pasta".
"What day is it?", Tori asked.
"Tuesday", Crisan answered.
"Oh! there will be", Tori assured her, "you know, because they only serve to the day that are starts with T".
"Oh! yeah", Crisan remembered, "come on, let's go".
Later in Augustus High School, Gage and Courtney were in Chemistry lab taking notes but the class was about to end, "Okay, remember this all will be in the test", their teacher, Ms. Marnie said pointing at the white board, Courtney rolled her eyes and just continue writing.
"I'm not surprise", Courtney whispered to Gage then he chuckled quietly.
"So before you guys leave", Ms. Marnie called the whole class, "I have your quizzes here and I'm happy to say that all of you did well", Gage and Courtney looked at each other with a grin in their face, Ms. Marnie held the papers in her hands and gave it back to the student she then gave to it Gage then to Courtney. They looked at their scores, Gage and Courtney got an A and they were happy about it then they gave each other a high-five. The class finally ended, they walked out the class and Courtney was still staring at her paper with glee.
"Finally got an A!", Courtney sang as she skipped joyfully while they walked
"Nice one, Court", Gage said to her, "keep it up".
"Thanks!", Courtney said to him, "but thanks for helping me study".
"I'm happy for you, Courtney," Gage said to her, "you might get back in the swim team in no time".
"Ugh.. I know", Courtney scoffed, "and also the marathon".
"Right!", Gage replied to her then they went to their school cafeteria, Dave was their alone with food in front of him but he was browsing social media in phone, he looked awed. Gage and Courtney just came carrying their lunch trays and saw his expression.
"Hey! Dave", Gage greeted then he and Courtney sat next together across to Dave.
"Hey! guys", Dave greeted back to them then went back to his phone again.
"What are you looking at on your phone?", Courtney questioned Dave since he was still focus on his phone so he stopped and turned to her.
"Someone just posted last night that he was riding a Porsche when going home from a friend's house", Dave answered, he was about to show it to them, "see".
"Not interested", Courtney waved him off immediately, Dave then just put away his phone.
"By the way, we got an A in our Chemistry pop quiz", Courtney boasted
"That's great!", Dave said to her with a smile on his face.
"So how'd you do in Chemistry?", Gage asked Dave.
"I got a B+", Dave replied, like he was satisfied by it.
"Nice", Gage said to him then they gave each other a fist bump.
"Not bad. Next time, try stick your nose on your books than your phone", Courtney said looking unimpressed, Gage sensed her snide and Dave got used to it too, they chose not to say anything.
"Anyways, now I have to worry about writing an essay in English class", Gage sighed, "about what aspects that can change our lives".
"Oh! yeah...that", Courtney scoffed, she rolled her eyes feeling annoyed.
"I know, I haven't even started yet", Dave told them, "I can't think of anything yet on what to write".
"Me too", Gage exasperated.
"Well, at least I have time just chill", Dave said looking so lax about it.
"Of course your gonna goof off", Courtney teased Dave.
"Relax, we have time", Dave reminded, "and it will come to me".
"How?", Courtney questioned him.
"It'll just come, it always does", Dave replied.
"That's just weird", she commented then remembered something from what Crisan said when they met, Gage and Dave looked at her in a weird way.
"What? I just need to clear my thoughts", Dave explained.
"How do you do that when it's already cleared?", she joked, Gage chuckled and Dave just got used to her teasing since their friend.
"Good one", Dave muttered.
"Remember what that church girl said?", Courtney asked Gage
"Church girl? Like St. Rebecca's all-girls school girls?", Dave said not catching up with things.
"Yeah... long story short she was a member of Mr. Gordon's running club and she said that running makes her think", she mocked the idea.
"Everyone is different", Dave respond.
"Yeah, Dave is right", Gage agreed, "people deal things differently", Courtney became more irritated.
"Whatever", she called off the topic then looked at Dave, "but I bet you'll overdue it".
"I don't overdue", Dave denied it to her.
"Dude, come on", Gage called him to confess.
"Okay, maybe I do but I'm still graded maybe not as much if I submitted it early", Dave admitted, Gage and Courtney smirked and shook their heads, "hey! I have other things to do too you know".
"Yeah, right", Courtney teased looking unconviced, "like saying zombies".
"No!", Dave defended, "I've been.."
"Not my problem", she interrupted, Dave rolled his eyes then just ate his food.
Later, Crisan reached her home and was suffering from her sore again after walking alone, she went inside, "mom, I'm home!", she shouted but no one answered, she shrugged and walked to the living room and sat on the couch to rest. No one was home so she was just laying there then her phone buzzed so she checked it, it was from Thelma, 'At the office til midnight, pick-up Marcus in his soccer practice at four and money is in the counter to buy take-outs. Love, mom', she didn't mind so she decided to watch TV to pass some time so she turned it on and began channel surfing then she stopped at this one channel where there was a news that caught her attention.
"Singer, Amanda Oa and her fiance, Ronnie Barns plans to tie-the-knot at the ever-so-luxurious, Leone Hotel in Paris this coming Christmas", a reporter announced, Crisan stared blankly at the television and smiled.
"There's no better place than Leone Hotel", Crisan said then decided to channel surf again. Later thirty minutes before four, she was at Marcus' soccer practice outside of his school in and St. James School a prestigious for boys, she was standing among the crowd wearing a casual white Ultraman Limitied Edition tee and a jean short with white sneakers, her hair was down beautfiully and the sunlight reflect the gloss on it. It was just drills, and Crisan was watching along with other parents who were there who had to look after their kids. She was standing looking at Marcus, the sun was brightly shining to her face so she back away from the field was searching for a shade so as she was looking around the area she unexpectedly saw someone familiar alone standing by the path way, it was Henry. Crisan took awhile recognize him without his work uniform since he was wearing another uniform from his school and his hair looked more different or styled differently. Crisan then ran to him, "Henry!", she shouted then he turned to her and confirmed Crisan's suspicions, Henry looked like he saw a ghost.
"Oh! it's you", he said.
"Yeah, Hi!", Crisan greeted, "what are you doing here?".
"I'm a student here in this school", Henry answered, Crisan was taken aback by that, "what are you doing here?".
"My brother goes to school here too and he's having his soccer practice over there", she pointed to the field, "no work today?".
"Nope, not today", he replied, Crisan looked up and down at him and notice how dashing he looked with school uniform which was also black and white, he was wearing a black sweater over a white buttoned down shirt and a khaki pants with Italian black shoes, his hair was nicely groomed with clay-wax, he looked handsome and tall and Crisan was impress to see a different side of him, althought to him she was staring at him for a while and to him it was like she'd seen a celebrity, "I know, I know, I look different".
Crisan looked embarassed, "no, no, I didn't mean to.." she stammered.
"It's fine", he chuckled, "but I am sorry if I was coming on strong when we met, that was unlike me".
Crisan looked surprise because he sounds like a gentleman, she did remember because it was the time she saw Gage again and then she gave him a gentle smile, "No problem", she replied, "but I must say, you look good".
"Thank you!", Henry said as he tried to fix himself a little, "where's your friend? what's her name?".
"Tori... she's somewhere else", she answered, "why?".
Henry's face turned red and looked down, "just asking", Crisan had an inkling but chose to brushed it off.
"Master Heinrimus!" someone said loudly and Henry turned to that person who looked like he was in his fifties wearing a tux and a newsies velvet black hat standing beside a white Range Rover, Crisan even turned to look.
"Coming, Eton!", Henry replied to that person, "I have to go", Crisan was surprised again that the guy she thought served drinks at a cafe was actually posh boy who has a chauffer driver a Range Raver then looked at Henry again.
"Heinrimus?", Crisan snickered.
Henry didn't seem to mind her giggle and just gave her a smile, "nice seeing you again, Crisan", he said as he walked away from her.
"You too, Heinrimus", she replied by teasing his birth name, Henry smiled and waved farewell at her then went inside his car even the his driver then they left.
"Wait til Tori hear about this", she chuckled to herself. Minutes later, soccer practice was over, Marcus saw Crisan.
"Crizzy!", Marcus shouted excitedly, he ran to her then hugged her on her waist, Crisan didn't even mind that he was embracing her even when he's sweating.
"Great job out there, Marcus", Crisan said to him.
"Where's mom?", he asked.
"She's still at work but she left us money for food" she told him with excitement, "We can have pizza for dinner".
"Yay!", Marcus cheered and was jumping for joy. They were finally home safe, Marcus took off his dirty sneakers and placed it on the side of the entrance and felt the sore again.
"My legs are killing!", she whined.
"Are you okay?", Marcus asked her looking worried.
"I'm fine, I just need to sit down. Go take a shower then do your homework", Crisan told him nicely like a responsible big sister she was, "let me know when you're done".
"Okay, Crizzy", Marcus followed then went straight to his room. Crisan had no assignments to do since they were all done in school then she grabbed Marcus' muddy shoes and carred it outside, she got a hose and turned it on then washed the dirt off the sole then left the shoes outside by the front door to dry it off then went inside and straight to her room, she turned on her tablet again to play some music then continue on with her paintings. It was night time, Marcus finished his homework and was watching cartoons, Crisan took out her phone and ordered pizza online using her tablet. She then took out her wallet to prepare for cash payments but she didn't seem to have enough and then opened her drawer from her study vanity and found the mysterious letter then she put it back on her desk and found what she was searching for it was an envelope with some money in it. Suddenly both her phone and her tablet buzzed, it was a message via Instragram from Russell Kaz, updating her about the details of the shoot and was asking for her dress and foot sizes then she replied then she got intruiged again so she looked at his profile a second time and looked through his works, it looked so professional then she went back to the chat then she looked at herself in the mirror. Later a car, yellow with a red hood stopped in front of the house, someone came out and it was Dave, wearing the local pizzaria restaurant uniform a red shirt and with it's logo printed on the middle and a cap, carrying a pizza box and a brown paper bag on top, he looked at the house of his customer and was wowed by how high-class the neighboorhood this person was living in, he gulped and walked to the front door then rang the door.
"Coming!", she yelled. While waiting, Dave used his one hand to reach into his pocket to get his wristlet from his pocket and one hand holding the meals then he dropped the wristlet on the ground by accident so he bent down on his knees. Crisan went down and got to the front door then she opened it, Dave was greeted by her long sensual legssince she was still wearing her jean shorts but Crisan was surprise that no one was there in her eye level so she looked down and found him, Dave slowly looked from her legs to her face, it was like he saw an angel or a celebrity and she was staring back at her, he shook his head to get back to reality, so he stood and carried her orders.
"Hi!", Dave stuttered, he was still at a daze, "delivery for.. Reagan".
"That's me, I'll just take that", Crisan said as she picked up the paper bag from him, "Marcus! come here for a sec!", her brother ran to her then helped her by getting the paper and went to the kitchen. Crisan turned to Dave who was still stunned at her beauty.
"Don't forget the pizza", Dave joked trying to rouse her.
"Right", she replied with a smile and then he handed it to her then he noticed her Ultraman shirt, "Marcus!". After Marcus got the pizza and went to the kitchen again, she was digging in her pocket to pay for what she ordered, Dave was staring at her shirt again.
"I like your shirt", he said shyly trying to have conversation with her. Crisan stopped for a bit then looked at him then at her shirt then at him, "I used to watch Ultraman when I was a kid", she smiled and nodded and Dave realized that he said too much, he looked away and pounded his head.
"Me too", she replied while still digging through her pocket.
"You do?", he quipped and quickly turned to her as his eyes popped out since he did not expect a girl who looked like she was out of his league would like something like that.
"Yeah!", she confirmed with a grin, holding the money in her hands and gave it to him, Dave was impress, "the theme song is still stuck in my head, Ultraman, Ultraman, here he comes from the sky...", Dave was in disbelief as she sung the short opening theme song.
"Oh my God!", he reacted like a fan to her singing "Ultraman, Ultraman, watch our hero fly",then they laugh, to Dave it was a dream of his to see a pretty girl likes things that not most people are interested in.
"Actually, I bought this at a vintage store in Japan last year", she answered, "I'm not even sure if it's legit".
"Looks legit to me", he said, "it still cool, I always wanted to go there, that's where Anime comes from".
"You should, it's great there", Crisan encouraged him.
"Well... someday, maybe", Dave replied to her.
"Thanks, especially with delivering our food", Crisan said to him, Dave felt appreciated.
"No problem, here's the change", Dave said to her as he gave her the small bill.
"Great, here's a bonus tip", Crisan offered to him, Dave was in awe.
"Wow! thanks!", he replied as he got the money from her, "I better go, I have to go back to restaurant. Enjoy your meal!", he began to walked back to the car.
"Thanks! drive safe!", Crisan said to him then got inside the house, she and Marcus was in the living room watching cartoons, he was enjoying the pepperoni pizza and Crisan was happily eating her lasanga then she took out her phone and took a little video and also a selfie of her and Marcus then posted it in her instagram stories and tagged the pizzaria. The next day, Dave was in study room alone with textbooks in front of him but his head was in the clouds again, he was thinking about his encounter with Crisan. He took a water bottle from his backpack and he was about to drink it but his thoughts of her distracted him to, he was holding the bottle his hands it was near to his mouth, he was smiling and looking blankly at the chair across him. Gage and Courtney suddenly walked in the room and was looking for Dave among the some students in the room then Gage found him with Dave's back was facing the other and Gage must've recognized his shirt.
"There he is, come on", Gage said to Courtney, they walked to where he was sitting then, "hey! Dave", but Dave was still stuck in his daydream and was still holding that water bottle and it was still close to his mouth so he didn't respond, Gage and Courtney seemed to have notice that something was weird since it was like he was ignoring them, they looked at each other then at him.
"Hello...Earth to Dave", Courtney called his attention but to no avail.
"Dave?", Gage tried to call him behind him then so then he puts his hand on shoulder and tapped it hard, "Hey!", Dave was awakened by his daydream and it shook his drink that accidently spilt his shirt, Gage realized that he was kind loud and caught the other student attention and began to apologize to them.
"What the...!", Dave reacted to his wet clothes and so was his hand that was holding the bottle so he placed it on the table and started to wipe himself with his hands, "what are you guys doing?", Gage and Courtney was confuse.
"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you there", Gage apologized as he settled on his seat beside Dave," we were trying to call you..".
"But it was like your head was somewhere else", Courtney said as he sat beside Gage and across to Dave who looked embarrased so he looked down and continue wiping.
"Courtney is right, what's up with you?", Gage asked him.
"Uhm... nothing, nothing, I was just having too much stuff in my mind", Dave stammered, Gage just took his word for it so he just brushed it off and Courtney didn't seem to care anyway.
"Seriously? you have things going on in your head", Courtney joked.
"Funny!", Dave respond sarcastically.
"So what are you working there?", Gage asked as he opened his bag and also starts to bury himself with books.
"Just some research report", Dave exasperated looking frustrated.
"Overduing", Courney teased by making a funny tune.
"Failing", Dave tuned back to her, Courtney was hit by that.
"Let's just study", Gage intervened so the two won't start another arguement.
"Cheap shot", Coutney said and started to hit the books and so did the two boys.
