Zhou minho finally released his grip on physician Lee as he staggered backwards. Physicians Lee fell on the floor and looked at Zhou honghui with gratitude.
"Father..." Zhou Honghui held his hands, trying to calm him down. They both looked at the young beautiful Yanmei who was staring at them innocently. They could see she looks paler than before.
"Grandfather, uncle, I want to speak with both of you alone". She made up her mind to tell them the truth, afterall they deserve to know so they could be prepared for the worst. Physician Lee and the rest servants, quickly excused themselves.
"Yanmei". Zhou Minho called lovingly as he held her hand. He was shocked as her temperature was so cold it felt like he was holding ice. Zhou Honghui sat at her left looking sad.
"Grandfather, uncle, I know you love me but you were never there for me when I needed you the most, what I'm about to tell you must be kept secret". Yanmei said seriously as she looked at both of them.
'Are you sure you want to tell them?' Feng Huang asked telepathically.
'Yes, even though they were never here for me, I don't want them to be scared when I leave'. Yanmei replied.
"I know I have a fetus poison in my system". She paused staring at their shocked faces.
"Xiao mei". Zhou minho called softly. Yanmei raised her hand to stop him and continued.
"Physician Lee can't cure me from this terrible poison, it's eating me up and I feel I don't have much time to live".
"Don't say that mei'er, uncle promises to protect you and cure you". Zhou hongui said emotionally as he held her hands.
"Yanmei knows uncle wants to save me but physician Lee can't, while I was out today, I met a person who told me a way to cure my illness so I want to leave to meet the person". She said calmly observing them. "He told me I only have one week to live".
As she expected, Zhou Minho and Zhou Hongui where both shocked.
"Xiao mei'er, we are happy to invite the person here to treat you but we are against the idea of you going to meet the person, what if it is a trap to kidnap or even kill you?" Zhou minho tried to persuade her.
"Mei'er is sorry grandfather, Mei'er have to do this, I won't give those people the satisfaction of watching me die, I'll fight till the end". Yanmei said fiercely. Zhou minho and Zhou honghui looked at each other and knew it was futile to try and stop her.
"You are just like your father, so stubborn especially when he sets his heart on something, no one can change his mind". Zhou minho said smiling sadly. "Since this is what you want, I won't stop you". He said sighing resignedly.
"But father..." Zhou honghui still tried protesting. Zhou minho stopped him from speaking further by raising his hand.
"Xiao Mei'er, you have to promise grandfather that you will come back safe and healthy, only then can grandfather let you go". Zhou Minho said determined.
"Yes grandfather, Xiao Mei'er promises to return strong that nobody can bully we, the Zhou's".
"Then you can go, when do you plan on leaving?"
"Tonight".
"I'll prepare things to take with you on your journey without alerting anyone". Zhou Honghui finally conceded.
"Thanks uncle". Yanmei smiled happily.
"We will leave you alone to prepare everything". Zhou minho said as he left with Zhou Honghui.
"Well that went well". Feng Huang said.
"I've to check on Hwayang before I leave". Yanmei got up and left.

"Young miss..... I was so scared...." Hwayang cried and hugged Yanmei tightly. "If anything...had..happened to you..i..."
"Stop crying I'm alright, for now at least". Yanmei sighed. As the hours goes by, she can feel herself getting weaker.
"Hwayang, I have a very important task for you, are you willing to carry out this task?"
"Young miss, Hwayang is ready to do anything young miss ask, even if young miss ask Hwayang to jump into fire, Hwayang will do it". She said determined.
"Good, I'll be going on a journey for one week and I don't want anyone to know, this secret is very important and Yanmei wants you to pretend to be Yanmei". She said waiting for her reaction.
"Hwayang wants to go with young miss, Hwayang doesn't dare to impersonate young miss". She said quickly kneeling and crying. Yanmei rubs her head as she fell an headache coming.
"If Hwayang doesn't do this for me, my life will be in danger and I will die". Yanmei explained calmly. "Besides you don't have to do anything, all you have to do is stay in my room all day without coming out, grandfather will announce to everyone that I'm sick and no one should disturb me or visit me, so no one will know it's you".
"Hwayang agrees, but I don't look like young miss, so when I'm served meals the person will quickly know". She said expressing her fear.
"Leave that to me". Yanmei said. "it's almost time for me to leave so I'll quickly get you ready". They both left to her room.
Yanmei sat Hwayang in front of her mirror and quickly started changing her looks. She bought some few things out from her space which transmigrated with her. She dyed her hair silver, wearing her gold contacts, she did a little makeup for her. "Always wear a veil to hide half of your face, remember to never remove the veil, and don't speak to anyone". Hwayang nodded obediently.
Knock knock
Yanmei and Hwayang immediately became alert as they stared nervously at the door.
"Xiao mei'er, it's grandfather and uncle".
"Come in". Yanmei breath relieved.
"Great General Zhou and general Zhou honghui". Hwayang quickly greeted.
"Grandfather, uncle". Yanmei also greeted. They both nodded and accepted their greetings. They stared at Hwayang and were stunned.
"This...?"
"She is Hwayang, my personal maid". Yanmei calmly explained. They both nodded in understanding.
"Great general Zhou, general Zhou honghui". Hwayang greeted them again.
"You can call us grandfather and uncle for now, so it won't seem obvious". Zhou Minho said.
"Hwayang understand".
"She will do". They both nodded.
"Everything is ready for you and already in this space bag". General Zhou gave her the bag. Yanmei nodded with gratitude and felt warm in her heart, though she doesn't need it because she already has her own space.
"Thank you grandfather and uncle, I promise when I come back I'll be stronger". Yanmei said.
"We will be waiting for you, take this and use it wherever you are if you are in danger". Zhou honghui gave her a whistle.
"This is..?"
"this is our families special armies signal, once you use it they will immediately hear it and come to your aid wherever you are". Zhou honghui explained. Yanmei felt warmth in her heart as she stared at the small red whistle before keeping it. She looked at Zhou minho and Zhou honghui before running to them and hugging them. At first they were surprised, but returned the hug happily.
"We're sorry for not being there for you all those years, but now grandfather and uncle promises to take care and protect you". Zhou minho said emotionally as he hugged her. He was happy, she finally forgave them.
"Yanmei knows grandfather". Separating from them, "Yanmei have to go now". They both nodded. They escorted her to the secret passage. She looked at them one last time, covered her head with her cloak, before mounting her horse and leaving.
"Let the journey begins".
