Kuro stood back up, he summoned Zuel to try and help him but he then desummoned him because he didn't want him to die a worthless death.
He then breathed in and out as he then saw energy flow from his body into a blue orb which caused his aura circle around his body and then in his arm, he opened his eye's and shot a ball of energy at the monster which the system would then fuse his dark lighting with causing it to have an even more powerful force to it.
As the ball, and dark lightning fused with as it was shot at the Stage 6 monster. The energy blast hit the Stage 6 monster and it caused it to force it's way through the monsters stomach. In which the monster would fall down, with it's last life it tried to throw his sword at Kuro but midthrow the monsters mana stopped and the particles which were needed to form mana were disturbed causing the sword to fall downwards. This led to the death of the monster.
Kuro fell down on his knees, his energy was depleted even more since he was a child 'Oh shit...' he was panting heavily as he then coughed, he coverd his mouth with his hand and he then saw blood on it "Well..system...self-heal..." he said finnaly as he summoned Zuel before passing out.

Zuel caught his master as he then layed him down, Zuel stood up guarding his master with his sword out. A bright light was surrounding Kuro as he slowly healed, his body and fatigue were slowly disappearing. His passive skill activated as a powerful Mental Dome at Grade 10 surrounded him and Zuel.
Zuel would be surprised as he then sighed. Kuro woke up after 2 days and he noticed multiple notifications and one which surprised him.

Also, host has fused this technique with an existing one creating 'Ki Techniques' Such as, Ki attacks and ki enhancements. Host will now be able to use Ki attacks on command Max Grade level skills has been reached'
He was confused 'What did Max Grade level mean?' He didn't think too much about it but then system responded ' Max Grade level represents that the skills possessed by Host can no long be upgraded. Skills will grow stronger as Host grows stronger so now host and Zuel can foccuse on upgrading themselves up.
Meanwhile with Kai....
Kai went outside and saw the bag of pills and gold coins, he cryed a few tears since Kuro was his first and only friend that he's ever had and now that he had the money he could let his mother live a very peaceful life. He handed a gold coin to his mother since it would be suspicious if he gave her all 50. He said it was because he and his friends found a pill and sold it. His mother said to save it so he could foccuse on his Cultivation. But he responded saying that he already had the bascis and that he couldn't live with himself if he saw his mother suffer.
He then left to the forest with a few pills, he ate a pill which increased his latent potential by 100% and his cureent potential causing him to break through to Stage 2. He laughed as he broke through. He ate a couple of pills to advance his cultivation speed and how much Mana; Qi he could abosorb.
As Qi surrounded him, it would then slowly enter his body causing him to already be at the Peak of Stage 2. He then absorbed everything and broke through once more he then realised that his speed was faster then he previously had. He smiled as he then continued to cultivate while days passed since kuro left.

Layla would have already passed most of her teachers as she advanced to Stage 7. Her talent was considerd godlike, but it was mostly because of her resources and the fact that she abosrobed Qi 2 times faster then most. She used most of her Qi to set the foundation of her stage which further down the road led to a smooth breathrough but as she continued doing this she realized it became harder and harder but she continued.
Layla at the moment was one of the most strongest Kid in her clan. Most kids in her Clan were atleast at Stage 1 or 2 but she already passed most adults.
