Chapter 111 - Chapter 110 Finally, E-class arrived!

The pirates quickly turned tails and ran when they found a chance. They wouldn't waste a second there, not when there's nothing else for them there but death. They found themselves in a den of monsters and they must run away as soon as they can.

After realizing that he was doing something the other people see them as, Yin can't help but feel guilty.

He slowly lost altitude and landed beside his brother, Yang. He sat there, hugging his knees, burying his face in his arms.

"Idiot!" Yang spat at him. He did not try to cheer him up, but he accompanied him and stood by his side at least.

Yin felt like a total idiot. He was born with the magic of pure white, and he was also born as the one of the sons of the main family of the butterfly clan.

Yet he failed to be what he was supposed to be. A white butterfly who controls the light? What a joke! He was neither innocent nor pure. He was also not an angle whose heart is pure, nor a messenger of light.

He was a monster under the disguise of a white butterfly. One that is ruthless and kills. One who steals other people's souls and trap them in is command.

Maybe what the other butterflies said was right. That he was a demon. That he does not belong as one of the butterflies at all.

And just when everything around him seems to darken and his light slowly fading away, Yin felt a gentle hand that touched his hair. When he looked up, he saw Kira beaming at him.

Her smile was warm and gentle, it was somewhat comforting and made him feel like he wanted to cry. Unlike his white eyes, her golden-pink eyes were indeed pure and kind. It made him feel unworthy to be reflected on it. After all, the light he saw before him was brighter than his own.

"I'm sorry Yin, I think I made you feel sad."

Yin shook his head, and avoided her gaze. "No, It's not your fault. I'm just pathetic."

Kira titled her head in his reply. She gave him a hug and took him completely by surprise. "Nisan hugs me to make me feel better, so I hope you can feel better too."

Although her words may sound somewhat childish, it actually reached him.

In truth, he really wanted to cry but he somehow managed to suppress his tears. He really felt pathetic and guilty, and yet here he is, being embraced by the same person that made him realize his mistake.

"You shouldn't really beat yourself so much about it, Yin. Those are sirens, of course they'll be much more powerful in their lair. And besides, you're already powerful enough that your light didn't fade away." She told him, hoping to cheer him up. "So, work hard okay? I'm sure you'll transform even better."

Yin continued to stare at her, even when she ran towards her brother.

"She got you huh?" Yang spoke.

Yin smiled and glanced at him before staring at her back. "Yes, indeed she did."

Honestly, who wasn't. He was so sure that every single one of their classmates are all enslaved by Kishi and Kira's charm.

Yes, not just Kira, but Kishi as well. Although he was quite cold to everyone else except for his sister, he was still very lovable and cute. The two of them were the youngest, and everyone loves them. And for those who still did not, it was only a matter of time before they fell for their charm.

Indeed, they will be good leaders despite their fear for humans. It was undoubtably that their people will adore them greatly. They were not just children; they were also very pretty and cute. Not to mention they are kind. They had the power; they had the riches. They have everything one could ever wish for. They are talented and smart. They were no doubt the perfect children that everyone looks up to.

However, why is Clover so cruel as to curse them. Yin wondered. Every blessing has a cost of equal value. Other than growing up not knowing what it is to be loved by a parent, and other than growing up relying solely on each other, what is the curse really? How bad is that curse that the adults were so reluctant to tell them? He suddenly received a bad feeling thinking about this.

Still, it was not the time to think about these kinds of stuff. Yin shook his head and pushed the thought away from his mind. They were having a vacation, there's no need to worry about anything. Instead, they should have fun and enjoy their time.

After all that waiting, they finally arrived at the paradise island. It was just as the rumors said it is. They had a castle to stay in with expert and top-class service, a beach where they can enjoy the sun and the sea, a hot spring bath for relaxation, and a spa.

"Alright children, before anything else, why not eat lunch first? The food will be served in the dining hall." Amili suggested and all the children agreed. Food first before anything else of course.

After walking through long halls on red carpets, they arrived shortly at the dining hall.

It was a spacious room with a long table at the center. The walls, are decorated with thick and beautiful garlands of fresh flowers, that are hung between fragrant candles. On the marble floor, lays large vases of flowers that was arranged beautifully.

The spirits are flying around and serving the food on the table. It was mostly seafood and some of the fresh fruits and vegetables the island can offer. It was simply exquisite. It looked so beautiful and delicious in the eye; it was alluring.

No matter how mouth-watering the foods served can be, the children are not at all enticed. They were born in high-classed families, only middle rank or commoners would be so tempted. And without the need to say, they were taught some etiquettes and learned to always mind their manners.

They chatted as they waited for the rest of their classmates to sat down. Amili also joined them as being the teacher mainly in charge of these students.

When everyone finally settled down, it was only then when they started eating.

"Airi, what happened to you?" Rex asked him, staring at Airi suspiciously as if saying that the person sitting beside his was a mere shapeshifter.

Airi glared daggers at him. He seemed offended. What does he mean by that? "What the hell are you talking about?!"

Although Airi did not expect it, Bubblegum was the one who answered for Rex. "Airi, you...uh, you've been more elegant and well-mannered lately."

Rex chuckled at this. "Yeah, he kinda reminds me of what's he's like six years ago."

Airi was stunned. Back at six years ago, he did not act childish or bratty like, unlike everyone else. He was a well-mannered and fabulous young boy when everyone's just learning some etiquettes.

The reason for that was...well, because it was necessary. His father would always tell him that he needs to learn all those fancy etiquettes or everyone at the Sacred gathering where James tend to bring him along would stare at him. And as a child, he did not want that. He also suspected that he bumped into the twins there but he just didn't notice since everyone there wears mask to hide their identities. It also very likely because the people that attended that party are only the sacred royals -- excluding the elemental palace -- and are also relatively few.

But being the most refined and well taught despite being the youngest among the children, he was obviously looked up to at that subject. But of course, he stopped being so elegant and disregarded half of the etiquettes he learned since four years ago. He found it unnecessary so he just did what he wanted without paying too much attention.

That was until Sychi pestered him about it. He often visits and spends time at the palace during weekends, so he had to act as graceful and elegant as the twins does. And subconsciously, it became a part of him again and he tends to act so even outside of the palace.

This made him feel embarrassed. He did not notice that until they said so, and wasn't really his intention. What can he do though? Sychi would sure kill him if he did not mind his manners. Now that he thought about it, would he be dancing as graceful and beautiful as Kishi and Kira? No matter what, he must not let them know that or they will sure laugh at him.

"Come on Airi, there's nothing to be ashamed about it. Don't you think you should be proud instead?" Said Kira.

Kishi nodded, agreeing to his sister. "Kira's right. Besides, the next Sacred gathering will take place in half a year from now, and you can't escape it. It would be wise to start preparing yourself now rather than later."

After he said that, some of the children felt chill in their spine. The gathering five years ago, the elemental palace was excluded due to certain circumstances, but it won't be this this time. Almost half of the whole E-class are children from the Sacred realm and all of them needed to attend that frightening gathering. Maybe Kishi was right that they should be preparing themselves now.
