It was a bright summer day and the sun was shining brightly. The weather was extremely hot and the E-class students were trying hard to cool themselves with cold beverages, and deserts.
Kishi and Kira chose to stay out of the sun inside of the ship's cabin. Kishi was sitting at a chair behind the desk, and Kira was sitting on the carpet beside him, leaning on his legs.
The interior of cabin was somewhat fancy. The windows were decorated with golden laced red curtains. There is one golden bird cage by the book's shelves, and inside of it was a majestic bird.
Other than navigational items such as maps, a globe, a compass and other stuff that was scattered in the floor, piles of papers, scrolls, and other precious artifacts were also there scattered everywhere.
The two of them sat there silently, busy reading their books. The door creaked open, making the bird flap its wings. Mythica strode inside and approached them.
"Aren't you bored staying here? Everyone's having fun outside."
The twins considered her for a moment. "No thanks, were fine here." Kishi said to her without even sparing her a glance.
Mythica pouted and sat beside Kira. Seriously, the two of them were super hard to handle. She can't understand why they like to keep with themselves.
She can't help but notice that unlike her, the two of them were not wearing any summer clothes. They just wore their usual matching outfits that are all white.
Considering how hot it is outside and how thick their clothing is, she can't help but feel anxious.
"Umm...aren't you hot?" She asked.
Without paying much heed to her words, Kishi offered in reply. "Were having ice cream, want some?"
Kishi handed a cup of ice cream to her. It was a strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla favored ice cream with sprinkles and marshmallow toppings and chocolate fudge.
Knowing them, they must've eaten a lot of ice cream, especially in a very hot weather such as this. It was surprising that they didn't suffer from a major case of brain freeze or tooth ache.
Not having the patience to speak some sense into them, Mythica grumbled and dragged them out.
"Hey everyone!" She called all her classmates' attention. Forming a sinister smile on her face, she said. "Wanna doll these two up?"
The twins instinctively realized what she was trying to do. Exchanging glances, they tried their best to wriggle out of her grasp but alas, it was too late.
In their class, being one of the youngest and the most adorable ones, Kishi and Kira were like everyone's toy. They liked dressing them up and doing a lot of weird things with them. Honestly, they couldn't care less since Sychi does the same with them, but unlike Sychi's style of dolling them up, they see their classmates' style as vulgar.
"I hate this I hate this I hate this I hate this..." Kishi kept murmuring the same words over and over again from embarrassment, his face red as an apple.
Kira on the other hand was weeping and was calling for his help, but it's not like there's anything he could do.
They dressed Kira with an off-shoulder dress with a frilly sleeve that was draped loosely around her shoulders, revealing her snow-white skin. It was created with thin white fabric that is very ideal for hot weather. It was also very short as it ends below her hips, so they made her wear black shorts. Her hair was tied up in a ponytail with a ribbon forming a cute bow that is black in color.
Kishi on the other hand, was dressed very simply. They made him wear a white T-shirt and black shorts just like Kira. The two of them were also wearing flat shoes that are also black.
"So...so cute!" Everyone shared the same opinion.
"You two are so adorable!" Rex laughed
"We knew it will look good on them, right sister?" Tsusu said
"That's right sister. It was simply adorable." Chisu agreed
In other's opinion, they looked really cute, but the two of them thought otherwise.
"Why do you look so embarrassed and awkward?" Mythica questioned. "It looks really good on you."
"Yeah. Not to mention, it's still white and style is matching. We even bothered to pick that specifically for the two of you. Right Yang?" Yin said.
"Yeah, whatever."
Smiling, Airi answered for them as their mouths remained tight shut. "Myth just so you didn't notice, those two were pretty conservative."
Now that he said it, it does make a lot of sense. Kishi and Kira not just always wear outfits that are all white and matched, they also make sure not to reveal much skin.
Kira always wears clothes that are long sleeved and is either laced or frilled. She dresses like a Lolita from a fantasy world.
Kishi is also the same. In his style, he was rarely seen not wearing long sleeves. And usually wears shorts and only not when there is a formal gathering.
"Now is not the time to feel shy, let us enjoy this all together!" Miha said enthusiastically and picked Kira up.
The breeze blew hard and the waves crashed harder. As the sails picks up the wind, their boat floated across the ocean as the creatures swam near it.
Kira's eyes seemed to sparkle when she saw it. She quickly rushed and leaned on the railing to get a better look at the view of the horizon.
It was so beautiful she was completely mesmerized. It was her first time being on the middle of the vast ocean, and she never seen anything like it before.
Kishi went so her side and gazed at the horizon as well. Being out and in the sun, wasn't such a bad thing after all. All their worries seemed to have faded away.
"Hey guys!" Aspen showed them a deck of cards. "Wanna play a game."
After ten rounds of poker, everyone was defeated by the all mighty Kishi.
"THAT'S CHEATING!!" Airi snapped, slamming the table, causing the cards to flip away.
"Just because you're such a loser doesn't mean I'm a cheater." Kishi waved his hand of royal flush casually, looking smug.
"Oh really? You think you're so great, mister-smarty-pants." Airi spat, getting annoyed.
As the two of them argued, the others just remained silent, not wanting to get dragged into their fight.
Not falling for his provocation, Kishi sneered. "Yes, I 'am way smarter than you, aren't I?"
Airi was definitely insulted. "Ah! How dare you!?"
"Am I wrong?" Kishi taunted. "If I 'am wrong, you wouldn't lose otherwise. It's obvious that I'm far superior than you."
"No you're not!" Airi denied despite knowing that it is true.
He never defeated Kishi in anything yet. He hardly won in chess, Kishi's obviously more skilled in using magic and in the sword, he can even do a spell he only read in a book on first try. He was very well mannered and mastered all the existing etiquettes like it was nothing, and Kishi also over shadowed him in almost everything. He was actually the top student if Kishi didn't happen to join him at school.
Knowing full well that Airi's saying that to keep his pride, he dared him. "Oh? Tell me then, is there something that you're far better than me?"
Honestly, that was totally savage. Airi's much more prideful as of lately, maybe because of the influence of the spirit of Leo that resided in him. Yet knowing that, Kishi actually dared make him admit that he lost himself in front of everyone.
"Um...well..." After pondering about it, Airi finally answered, confident with himself as he ran his fingers through his golden-brown hair. "I 'am beautiful!"
Some of the boys laughed at him loudly. That was the least they expected him to say, and Airi made a fool out of himself because of it. Laughing so hard, they held their tummy and drops of tears gathered in their sockets, and unable to breathe.
"Seriously Airi," Kishi sighed. "I thought you know full well that I 'am far prettier than you."
Embarrassed and his pride destroyed, Airi went to the corner and sulked. Kishi was so mean Airi kinda wondered where he got all his vicious attitude from.
His heart aching as if he's gonna cry, Airi held in all his tears. He did not want to look pathetic, not in front of everyone. But in the bottom oh his heart, he swore, he's not going to lose to Kishi anymore. One day, he'll sure be much more superior. And when he does, he'll show that arrogant guy his lesson.
But on the deepest part, he was happy. He never felt alone anymore
