"Take care Emilia, enjoy your day."
"Thank you, I will be going now." Emilia ran towards the bus station. Finally New Year's Eve, I want to see him. She took off the bus and walked towards the parks gate. Ren and Lily were waiting for her.
"Sorry for being late."
"It's fine since you are looking very pretty, isn't it Ren?"
"Ye-Yeah, you look pretty, very pretty." Both of them blushed and looked sideways.
"Hey, let's go inside you lovebirds." Lily grabbed Emilia's hand and they walked inside. The path was beautifully decorated, electric lights were hung in the tree and there were many stalls with foods, games, jewelleries. They played lots of games and ate different foods from the stalls on the way.
Ren looked at his watch, "We still have an hour left. Let's rest for a while." They sat on a bench and talked. Ren and Emilia glanced at each other and blushed. Lily saw them enjoying and suddenly she stood up.
"Hey guys, my mom just messaged me. She told me to return home. I should go now."
"Can you not wait for a while, Lily?"
"....No, I should go now. Enjoy the fireworks okay, Bye." She ran from the place.
"Wait, Li... "
"Emilia, Lily might have felt awkward, she left us so that we could be alone."
"Yeah, you are right but I wanted her to celebrate with us."
Lily ran towards the gate. On the way she bumped into a guy, "Sorry, I am sorry" "......." The boy didnot reply and passed by. "Whats with that boy?" and she walked towards her home.
"So how is your holiday going on?"
"Its fun, Lily visits me regularly and I am also enjoying at teachers place."
"Uhmm..sorry, I said that I would be visiting you but I couldn't. My parents have came because of their holiday. So.."
"Oh! Your parents came. Why didn't you celebrate with your parents? I mean your parents came after such a long time. They must have wanted to celebrate with you.
"Its because...."
"But....thank you for coming. I really wanted to meet you and celebrate the festival with you."
Hearing that, Ren hugged her tightly, "I also wanted to celebrate the festival with you. After all this is new year is our first tim...."
He recalled about her past boyfriend and became silent. Emilia noticed and she hugged hum tightly, "Yes, first time." Ren looked at her and she nodded with a smile. Then he slowly approached her and they kissed. After a while, the fireworks started. They hugged each other and looked at the fireworks.
