"Shh. I'm here. No need to be afraid," Jeno walked slowly to Kataigída's side. "Jeno!" the boy flung his little arms around her sister and hugged her for dear life. He burst out crying, letting out all the anxiety and sadness that welled up inside him. "Why? Jeno, why?" He kept asking her.
Zen and the others just stood there, watching the scene infront of them. All unaware that they were crying themselves. The hurt felt by the boy seemed to emanate in the room and they have no choice but to feel it in their hearts.
"Shh. It's okay. It's okay. We're all safe." Jeno continued to soothe Kataigída. The boy hugged her as tight as he could and wailed. They stayed like that for a few minutes until his wails turned into sobs. Jeno kept holding him when his body went limp and there are just soft sniffles coming from him. Making sure that he's asleep, she turned to the Doctor and asked, "Where are the others?"
The Doctor wiped his face and answered, "The other girl is in the 3rd floor. The three boys are here in this floor. They're awake, too."
"Will it be possible for all of us to be in the same room?"
"Yes. We will arrange for it right away. All of you are already stable and there's no need for these machines," the Doctor agreed right away. He turned to the attendants and requested for a VIP room to be prepared. It's good that the construstion of the VIP building has been completed. One room is already enough for a family of 6 to stay in. The hospital was trying to commercialize their services, especially for wealthy families.
"Thank you. I will stay here tonight. Can you take my sister here as well? We'll stay with Kataigída for the night."
"No problem. Let me ask the nurse to bring her up," Zen answered right away. She pulled up the radio and told the nurse to bring the patient up.
A few minutes later, the door opened and the nurse pushed in Patient No. 3's wheelchair.
"Jeno," the girl's voice was full of hope and happiness, though a deep sense of sadness can be felt from it.
"Vizhen," Jeno turned to her sister and nodded to the nurse. The nurse wheeled Vizhen to the bed. Jeno pulled her into an embrace and signaled the attendant to lift her to the bed. The attendant obliged.
"Thank you all for tonight." There was pure gratitude in her voice and everyone in the room were moved by her words.
"It is our job, but thank you," the Doctor let go of the breath he didn't know he was holding in. "You will all be transfered to the VIP building by dawn."
"Thank you again. Please let my brothers know," Jeno whispered with a hint of dismissal in her voice. Vizhen laid down by Kataigída's side and is already dozing off.
"We will leave you now. Just press the button if you need anything," the Doctor gestured to the button with his chin. Everyone took their leave and silence reigned in the room. Silence that is full with calmness. Jeno just sat there, deep in though while watching her siblings sleep. Her calming aura filled the room.
