It was the end of the Fall break, first day back from the break as many students were ready to see what the next semester holds for them. It was passing time as the day was close to ending, Ivy was changing into her combat clothing while Lilith used the bathroom stall to change. Resting her eyes, Ivy cleared her mind; Ruby sent a coded message telling that the first production of the armor has been almost finish, she's just looking for a way to augment people as it would be impossible for a normal human to withstand the armor's ruth and quick movement.
Lilith walked out of the stall and noticed Ivy was a distressed, she walked up to Ivy and bent down to give her a tight embrace. She could hear Ivy's slight uneven breathing however she quickly felt Ivy's cold mechanical hands touch her skin.
"Thanks, Lilith, come on I think--"
"Alert alert, all first-years find shelter immediately. This is not a drill. All other years, prepare to be deployed," a female voice spoke in the PA while the room turned red, light flaring everywhere while voices were screaming and shouting.
Lilith let go as she felt Ivy stood up, watching Ivy wrap her scarf around her neck and pulled it up. She summoned something Lilith never seen before. It was a single-edge sword all the way till the guard where it was painted in white lines that were double-edged. The whole blade was bolted together, the guard was shaped like a Glock, the magazine holder was the handle as its grips were both forms. Sliding the transformable blade in the sheath behind, Ivy turns to look at Lilith.
"I'm going, you can stay here but if you do come, use range as your advantage," Ivy was extremely stern, her voice was like a commander.
Lilith nodded as she summoned her weapons, she was about to turn away before Ivy grabbed her shoulder and handed three magazines with a flame symbol on them, two of them were for her M6G Magnum and the other for her sniper. Immediately, Lilith knew what type of bullets these were, impact rounds creating a large explosion that was able to cripple most building material and street. She took the magazines and stuffed them in her spare pouch as she nodded to Ivy, she nodded back to Lilith however in her mind she seriously wished that Lilith wasn't joining her but she didn't want to control Lilith's freedom.
--------------------------------------------------
Bang Bang Bang!
Ivy's gun barrel smoke hot as she blew on it, she pressed a little button that changed the gun's form into its bladed form. She was in the Diamond Sector of the kingdom however something just didn't sit well with her, this attack seemed too weird and oddly orchestrated. The fact that it was almost evening made this attack suspicious.
RAAAAA!
Looking up in the sky, there was a Nevermore flying overhead and towards the palace. Ivy immediately changed her weapon's form and opened fire at the Nevermore, when she reloaded she was given the attention she needed from the Nevermore.
The Nevermore turned its beak as it saw the puny human that dared to fire upon it, changing its direction: it dove right at Ivy as she prepared her Aura to brace for the force, she planned on grabbing the Nevermore's beak and breaking it with brutal force whether it likes it or not.
"The Sin of Wrath bathes inside," a dark voice echoed inside of Ivy's mind, it's words ringing throughout her ears.
Ivy's vision was a bit dizzy before being disorientated, her body felt suddenly heavy as she could barely make out of the Nevermore's decedent and beelining to her. Her mind was a mess, her body felt too heavy. Dropping her weapon, Ivy no longer felt like her. A strange entity creeping inside of her, quickly easing her muscles and jumbling her mind.
RAAAA!
Bang.
As if it was a sharpshooter's accuracy was made, the Nevermore's eyes were shot through and making the bird collapse and slowly turn to dust. Ivy could barely make out a silhouette of a person, but from what she can guess. It was Lilith.
Rushing towards Ivy, Lilith dropped down from the five-story building and held Ivy in her arms. She could sense demonic powers growing inside of her, however, what shocked her was that it wasn't a royal demon but instead Yuki, demon of the Sin of Wrath. She cradled Ivy in her arms as she could feel Yuki's presence growing at an alarming rate, something that shouldn't be possible for any race.
"I see...blood...I...see bones and skulls..." Ivy's voice was low, hoarse and monotone. Her mind was creating the memories of Yuki's capability and destruction. Her instincts were screaming at her to leave but how could she if it was inside of her?
Lilith could hear monsters screeching and howling, ravaging the Gem Sectors where most of the middle classes live. She also could hear people screaming and the crushing of bones and blood splattering everywhere.
Then she could feel shockwaves, each wave was the same as if it was a Godzilla size monster. She held onto Ivy closer, not daring to let go or stare into her eyes. Hearing a sharp breath, Lilith felt Ivy's muscles move and then retract.
"Little Lilith, please let me fight. I need to save you and everyone else," the voice that spoke wasn't Ivy's, in fact, it sounded nothing like hers. It was adult-like, charming yet amused almost. "Please? I promise I won't hurt your little kitty."
"Give me back Ivy!" Lilith shouted as she didn't let go of the monster that held Ivy trapped, she will be persistent about getting Ivy back no matter what even if she had to give her life to her.
"Calm down child, I merely wish to kill every single Remnant that currently invade this kingdom," the voice turned more feminine and royalty definitely had its way of lacing the monster's word. "And dear Ivy is just stressed, I'll give her back as soon as I defeat these Remnants but if you dear continue to keep me bound by your embrace then, by all means, these deaths are on you."
Suppressing the urge to not pummel this monster's manipulative mouth, Lilith slowly retracted her arms and stared at Ivy's eyes. Pure bright red with a hint of pink, slightly change of hair as darken red was mixed with Ivy's black hair at the ends. Her skin slightly darken but barely against Ivy's pale skin.
"Promise to give Ivy without a mark, Yuki," Lilith looked like a defeated puppy, she just hopes that Ivy would return to herself.
Smirking lightly, Yuki gave Lilith a little head pat before her figure flicker before disappearing.
Checking the time, Lilith cocked her sniper and followed behind Yuki. Just like Ivy said, keep her distance will be her advantage. Sighing deeply, she helped supported Yuki while using some special rounds that helped with the injured civilians.
