Chapter 10 - New Arrival!

It was nearing the middle of the afternoon when Ivy and Ruby walked out of the small classroom. Ivy yawned before rubbing her eyes. Although she could always ignore the sleepiness from her cat side, she desperately needed to sleep, or else she would start having a few future problems.

Seeing Ivy yawn, Ruby patted her head before gently caressing Ivy's hand and guided her back to their bedroom. She knew that Ivy didn't mind sharing a bed, but she could tell that it made her feel awkward. Especially in the mornings where Ruby would somehow find a way to snuggle next to Ivy.

Ruby looked over as she could see Ivy's eyelids falling every now and then. She giggled before picking up Ivy and shouldering her. She immediately felt Ivy's weight bearing down on her as she could hear her soft breathing on Ruby's neck.

--------------------------------------------------

Ruby wondered around the palace before feeling her titanium watch vibrate. She flickered her wrist to see an unknown caller but still answered it. If she was to get hacked, it would be a foolish attempt as the palace had a one hundred percent chance of tracking the person.

Ruby watched as her watch projected a holographic display of the anonymous user's icon. She could first hear static before seeing the green circle around the icon move a bit.

"Hello? Can you hear me?" the caller asked, their voice was light, kind of childish in some ways.

Ruby replied as she walked back into her bedroom. She turned on the lights before sitting on the edge of her bed, Ivy was still sleeping, but she wasn't too surprised.

"I heard that you have someone significant to me," the voice became much more profound and cruel almost. Ruby could feel the hairs on her neck stand straight.

Ruby's instincts flared before replying to a serious tone, "And who would that be? I haven't captured anyone in the past week."

She could hear the laughter from the other side as the caller spoke, "I think we both know that's a lie. All I want is Ivy, simple and clear. Besides, you don't have to worry about her causing problems while you live your perfect life."

Ruby froze a bit as she could feel movement behind her. She noticed that Ivy was shaking again, much more severe than in the past. Ruby muted herself as she comforted Ivy. It was an awkward position since Ivy was hugging her waist while pulling her closer.

"You won't mind if I stop by, right? All I need is Ivy. I'll see you soon, Ruby," the caller ended their chat before Ruby was able to unmute herself and say something.

She immediately pushed Ivy away as she could sense a built-up Mana concentration in her room. Ruby summoned her short swords as she prepared to fight her invader.

Feeling the sudden movements, Ivy was woken up as she raised herself from the covers. A small siren was ringing in her ears as she, sleepily, walked over the sphere of Mana building up. Ruby tried to stop Ivy, but she soon noticed that Ivy wasn't wholly awake, which made her prevent Ivy from approaching.

However, when Ruby tried to block Ivy, she was pushed away with immense strength that reminded her of her father. Ruby was able to slow down her momentum with her Semblance before coming to a complete stop. (A/N: Ruby wasn't abused! She was simply trained by her father! Don't get the wrong idea.)

Ivy continued walking toward the sphere as she grabbed through the sphere, which to any normal human would have died. She found the softness of a throat before yanking the person out of the sphere and throwing the person at full speed through one of the high glass windows.

("Uh...w-what?! H-How the fuck... I have so many questions,") Ruby started to question how far are Ivy's limits. Before she got carried away, Ruby jumped out of the window and lunged at the invader.

Ivy stood at the broken glass before collapsing to the ground, falling back asleep on the shattered glass. Although she was slightly awake, most of her movements were not her own. Something else was controlling her body, but Ivy didn't notice at the time.

--------------------------------------------------

Ruby and the invader engaged in combat. Ruby was able to get the first strike but failed to follow up before getting kicked in the stomach. Her invader seemed to be on the same level of strength, maybe a bit stronger.

"God damn! I just wanted IVY!" the invader cried. Assuming it was the same person who called Ruby, their voice was completely different than one the call. Much more feminine and rogue-like.

Ruby brandished her blades before having her blades launch at the invader. She knew that the invader must have some way of getting through the Mana detection barrier, but what was weirder was that nobody was helping her. It was dark out, but there was plenty of light coming from the palace that it didn't matter.

The invader dodge before catching one of the blades and countered the oncoming onslaught behind her. Ruby had one of her blades cloaked as she used it to attack from the behind while the girl was distracted.

Cling!

"I have senses beyond what you have," the girl said as she deflected the cloaked blade before charging Ruby.

Before Ruby made a sword shield, she noticed that the girl's movement have a similar feeling like Ivy's. She felt the girl slammed her sword before Ruby flickered all her swords upwards and tackled the girl to the ground.

With both of them weaponless, the two started punching each other. Compared to strength, both girls were also the same if not for the fact that Ruby had a little bit more experience with countering and being on top when tackling.

Clap. Clap. Clap.

Ruby and the girl both felt their body being lifted off of each other as they directed their gaze over to who was interfering with their fight.

"I think that's enough fighting girls. Quite a nasty fight to break a window," the voice belonged to the king as he pulled the two girls closer to him. "Ruby, I expected you to handle this matter more civilly. And you, stranger, should have simply come to the front door and asked to see Ivy."

The girls pouted and averted eye contact with the king. The king bolstered and placed both of them at a distance apart. The strange girl was placed next to Ivy's sleeping body, while Ruby was in the protection of a few guards.

"Now, strange girl, mind telling me why you invade me home?" the king's voice was very stern and threatening that her current movement was frozen.

The girl retracted her arms that were so close to touching Ivy, she quickly sat on her legs and looked down. She opened her mouth as a small whisper was to be heard, "I-I..j-just wanted...t-to see Ivy."

The king arched one of his brows before sitting down: "And you thought it was appropriated to invade my home?"

The girls fidgeted with her hands before she could open her mouth again. Ivy groaned as she lifted her body from the broken glass. She did have some glass in her skin, but she seemed to be unfazed by it.

Ivy rubbed her eyes before seeing a very awkward scene before her. Ivy chuckled before noticing the new girl. She seemed very familiar. That pink and brown split hair, those heterochromia eyes of pink and brown. Her short figure yet sexy body with a plump butt and slightly busty chest. Especially in that gray one-piece along with those white boots with black buttons.

"It's fucking Neo, you dumbass!" Omega shouted as it wanted to simply punch Ivy in the face.

Hearing Omega's outburst, the girl named Neo smiled before see felt tearing coming up to her eyes. She wiped away the tears before trying to tackle hug Ivy only to be stopped mid-way.

"So, you have ties with Ivy. Very interesting," the king's voice was filled with intrigue. Ruby pouted and looked away before realizing the blood on the carpet. Besides the broken glass, Ivy's blood seemed very normal.

Just as the king was about to speak again, Ruby jumped in and said, "Ivy, shouldn't we take care of the glass in you?"

Ivy looked at herself before plucking each shard out of her body like it was a simple splinter stuck inside her. She placed each shard gently on the ground and looked up at the shattered window.

("Did...I do that?") Ivy asked herself.

As if reading Ivy's mind, the two girls both replied at the said time, "You threw me through that window!""You threw her through that window!"

The two looked at each other and looked away and hmphed. The king laughed as he got up and took both of the girls to the hot springs.

"Do you need any medical attention, miss?" one of the guards asked. He moved up, ready to heal Ivy's wound, but was taken aback when he saw the quick regeneration inside of Ivy.

Ivy glanced over before shaking her head and lifted her hand with a small amount of Mana in her palm. She then spread her Mana on the broken piece and watched as it slowly rebuilt the broken window. Once every piece was in place, she changed her Mana color as it fixed all the cracks.

She looked over to see the guards awestruck. They never saw someone use Mana to rebuild something already broken. It surprised them, along with made them want to know how to do it.

Ivy nervously rubbed the back of her head before poofing into the changing room of the hot springs. Only to see a very eye-catching moment. (A/N: So lewd of you, Ivy! Could have teleported anywhere else but you go into the changing rooms!)
