. . .
The Ancient Plains.
Not many people from the distinguished kingdoms were fond of this place full of good air and nature.
Why?
Because it was once the homeland of the Ancient Clan that once roamed the land in peace, but the clan soon went extinct as time went on. Some believed that their disappearance started a curse from letting people step near the plains and others believed that barbarians now inhabit it.
Only a few people who were interested with their culture and stories shared the history of the clan with travelers and adventurers in the present time.
But what they don't know was that the Red Hero they held high regards for was exactly living in the Ancient Plains!
. . .
The breeze that gently sways in the wind.
The warm sunlight that casts light within the world.
And the place that calls home to me.
There was nothing greater than being home. Home where you're happy and content with your life, but was that always the case?
It would be boring if there wasn't any interesting events to see day by day.
"Ace!"
"Hmm?"
A lovely voice interrupted my deep and poetic thoughts as I was relaxing beneath the tree's shadow. Plowing the fields takes a lot of effort to do when you're living in the countryside where many origins of crops once grew up in.
And not many would be interested in agricultural work since being an adventurer was the norm with mages, warriors, healers, alchemists, fighters. . .you name it. Most of the younger generation by then don't want to choose work that aren't as exciting.
Yet it's those unexciting work that gave leeway to the present we live in now.
"ACE!"
"What?"
Her lovely voice broke my deep thoughts once more and I realized that the gorgeous woman in front of me was in the verge of hitting me with a frying pan in her hand.
"W-Wait, I'm sor-"
BAM!!
Ace Genford.
The so-called Red Hero that no one dares to go against. . .except my wife.
