No matter how much Mirae protested, she could not keep KJ to rest at home. The guy was very addicted to his work. Even a panic attack could not keep him away from going to office with her the next day.
"I'm telling you, we could work on the composition without you!" she scolded him as she slammed the door of the car. KJ got out after her, walking towards the building.
"I'm fine!" he insisted. "Laying around at home will only make me feel worse. I like to compose music. It's how I can destress."
"You might get another panic attack!" she exclaimed.
"No, I won't," he said. "Working keeps me from panicking. Besides, after Junhyung's threat, I'll panic more if I'm not around you."
"I have my guards and I'm a trained fighter," she scoffed as she pressed the elevator button. "I can take him and his men down. I always have my gun with me."
She pointed at her stomach. KJ knew the gun was well hidden under her clothes.
