Sohee panicked. The boy lost a lot of blood and went completely still.
"Is he dead?" she asked Taewon. Her voice was shivering with fear. She could not bear it if one of her students end up losing their life.
"He's not dead," Taewon replied, checking Junhyung's pulse. "But he will be if we don't hurry up. The Ambulance will take too much time to get here. We have to take him to the hospital ourselves. Quickly!"
Sohee nodded. They wrapped the wound with a handkerchief and carried the boy to their car. Taewon stepped on the accelerator. They were very much pressed for time. On one hand, Jiwon had been kidnapped and on the other hand was this injured kid.
Thankfully, the hospital was not far. As soon as they brought Junhyung in, nurses lined up to treat him.
"What happened?" one of the nurses demanded.
"He was shot!" Sohee exclaimed. "Please treat him now!"
"We'll have to get the forms signed by a guardian!" another nurse said.
