On a small patch of land on the planet, Arthondu called Starborne Ranch, a small boy can be seen working with an elderly man in the fields.
"Pa, this part of the fence should be alright." Said the boy as he finished placing the last pole into the ground.
"Good work my boy, help me wrap the fencing around it and we can head in before your Grams comes out with the spoon again." Replied the old man while shivering at the thought of his wife coming at him with the wooden spoon again.
"Haha, alright Pa, I'll make sure to tell Gram you're complaining again!"
"You brat!"
Like this, the two men continued to banter and work for another hour before making their way to the old two-story ranch-style home they lived in. While they may live in the age of expansion for the Human race, not all planets are technological marvels. Agricultural planets, or Ag Planets, tend to have an older style of living. It's not that they hated tech or they had religious views on it, it's just that they liked the simple lives and couldn't always afford any additional tech that didn't assist in their daily lives.
Walking back into the house, both of the men went to get cleaned up before coming back down and making their way to the dining room. Sitting down, the three of them ate a large dinner with steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans. After finishing their meal, the elderly woman went out and came back with a small chocolate cake with eight candles on it.
"Happy Birthday Julius!" Said the elderly woman to the young boy sitting at the table.
"Thanks, Gram and Pa! You guys are the best!" replied Julius with enthusiasm only a young boy could have before making his wish and blowing out all the candles on his first try. Julius and his Grandparents had a nice evening together filled with laughter, joy and chocolate cake before wishing each other a good night heading off to bed.
Outside the Ranch, the sun had set and after all of the lights in the house went out, a group of four individuals could be seen. Cloaked in black and loaded down with weapons beyond anything the inhabitants of this world have, they slowly made their way to the building.
"Raven 1 Actual, this is Raven 1-1. We're approaching target house now, requesting confirmation that the replacement is ready?" Said the lead individual in a headpiece he was wearing in his ear.
"Raven 1-1, this is 1 Actual. That is confirmed, proceed on mission and replacement will follow shortly behind you."
"Roger that, 1-1 out."
Following this short exchange, the four known as Raven team quickly made their way through the open fields and into the house. Walking quickly through the building, they entered the bedroom of the elderly couple and quickly incapacitated them. After ensuring that there were no issues with the couple, they made their way back into the hallway and down another two doors before finding the room where young, eight-year-old Julius was lying asleep in his shorts and tee-shirt. Making their way to him, the person known as Raven 1-1 quickly stuck a QuikStik syringe into the boy to inject him with an anesthetic. Sending a team member downstairs, they smoothly made their way back with the replacement. The replacement is essentially a clone of the target that is used when they don't want to alert anyone to the disappearance of their child. Unfortunately, cloning isn't an exact science yet so the clones are only able to live for a short time before they succumb to various ailments, thus allowing the group sponsoring Raven team to have the child without worrying about their records.
Replacing the child, they grab him and make their way back outside before heading back to their extraction point. Jumping into the hovercar, Raven 1-1 makes their final call to their mission controller before heading out.
"Raven 1 Actual, this is 1-1. The target, Reaper trial subject 041, is secure and we are RTB*"
"Raven 1-1, 1 Actual. Solid copy on last, come on home gents."
