Eva walked with a smile plastered on her face to Xia Yaoyao's room.
Without knocking she open the door after she arrived at the front door of Xia Yaoyao's room to see if she is already finished packing.
Xia Yaoyao that is sitting on her bed with a black expression looked up when she heard the front door being opened. Eva looks at the luggage on the floor and smile. 'looks like she was already ready to part with me hmpf whatever I'll send her to that bastard right now' She thought.
Xia Yaoyao only brings half of her clothes on the luggage and her backpack with a laptop and other tools inside of it. She looks at her room that she had been living for the past 8 years for the last time then turns to follow her aunt out of the room when Eva picked up the luggage and told Xia Yaoyao to follow her.
A few hours later
Xia Yaoyao is standing in front of the big gate of her new home. Her aunt dropped her off at the front gate and drove off saying that she has an appointment to go and she was getting late for that.
A big smile suddenly appeared on Xia Yaoyao face as she left her luggage in front of the gate then walk in the opposite direction. She took out her phone then search for the map of the nearest salon. The nearest salon is a few kilometers away from her so she searched for a taxi number then call. A few minutes later, the taxi arrived in front of her. She opens the taxi's door then slide in. After that, she gave the taxi direction. The driver looks at her bewildered as the 8 years old kid are so beautiful that words cannot describe her. Other's man would turn out pedophile upon seeing her as she is just that beautiful. Luckily that she called him if it is other people then he would not imagine what will happen to her. Sigh.
"What is your name, Miss? why are you by yourself? don't you know that it is dangerous if a girl walked by herself?" The driver asked Xia Yaoyao with a concerned tone. Xia Yaoyao looks at the driver and sees if he had any hidden motives but she didn't see any. The man is around 20 years old that has this aura of superiority surrounding him. As a taxi driver, you wouldn't find anyone like him with a handsome face, black hair and noble bearing. 'This man must have a story ' she thoughts.
"Uncle, wouldn't you find it rude if you ask for someone else's name when you haven't introduced yourself yet?" Xia Yaoyao answered with a calm and collected tone but her smile still wouldn't leave her face.
The man startled at her demeanor and laugh. "My bad young lady, My name is Li Mu Feng and I am 25 years old this year"
"My name is Xia Yaoyao and I'm 8 years old this year." She said with a smile.
" I am alone as I don't have anyone right now, my mother just passed away." She said without a hint of sadness. Once again, Li Mu Feng is startled by this girl's personality.
" Say, Uncle Li, can you tell me who are you really are?" Xia Yaoyao asked him with a smile as Li Mu Feng stiffened. 'Oh, this girl is so interesting' he thought.
"I am a taxi driver, miss"
"hmm" Xia Yaoyao hum as she studies the driver in front of her. She then took out her computer from her backpack and works her magic on it. 'If he does not want to tell her then she just has to find out about it herself' She typed the name Li Mu Feng in the search bar and pretty much nothing comes out. 'It looks like his identity was erased from the web. hmm, interesting' She smirked. with his number phone, she works her magic on the keyboard snd half an hour later the details appeared on her computer's screen. She grin. " Mission accomplished." She said out loud.
Li Mu Feng had been secretly watching her playing with her computer for the past half hour as he drove. He wonders what is it that makes her smile so terrifying. He amazed at the speed of her small hand clicking the keyboard. Then he heard 'mission accomplished' from her after she had been clicking on her computer but he just smiled looking at her. But what she said a moment later makes him nearly crash the car. They would be dead right now if he didn't manage to compose himself.
Xia Yaoyao read the information on her screen without blinking her eye. She hums still with a smile on her face.
" Li Mu Feng, the ex-president of Li corporation, single, age 25 years old" She read all the details out loud that makes Li Mu Feng looked at her with an indescribable expression. After she finished reading the details of him she then looks at him with a smile.
"You are really something else aren't you?" Li Mu Feng smile accepting that this fella is a genius.
Xia Yaoyao smile. " I guess Mu Jiang Lu betrayed you right?"
By now, Li Mu Feng already didn't get shocked from her. He knew that this girl is not ordinary. He just smiled a bitter smile and tells her about him.
" I have this friend. We started the company together at the age of 19 and I am the CEO as I came from a rich family and he was just from a common family. With My goodwill I invited him to start a company together with my money, my sense of business and my brain and I gave him a Vice-president seat as he is my best friend. But a few years later, he framed me. He managed to gather followers in the company then snatched the shares from my hand. I didn't dare to ask for my family's help so I just find a new job as a taxi driver and make a living for a few years now. Pitiful isn't it? " He forced a laugh as tears began to fall out of his eyes.
'There is more story to it but I will not ask him' Xia Yaoyao thought then suddenly Xia Yaoyao have an Idea.
" Uncle Li, can you work for me?" She offered with a smile as they arrived at the salon.
" Sure why not? I don't have anything to lose right now." He did not ask much as he is pretty confident with this girl. She can single-handedly find out information about him so what she cannot do right?
He didn't know that the moment he accepted her offer, his life is changed forever.
The next chapter will be a time skip to 10 years later.
