- Hunteer, bring us the Lambrusco I have kept for special occasions.
- Yes, M'Lord
Aveline loved it when Lucio ordered his robust servant to bring out the wine. That was probably the best thing about lord de Montoya. His 'special' wine always had an exceptional effect on Ave. She felt rather relaxed, carefree and light - hearted. No other wine affected her like that. She did not know why was it happenning and, frankly, she did not really want to know.
She simply enjoyed it. Was it stupid to act like that? it definitely was, but in a life full of responsibilities that she didn't have the right to ignore, in a life where she lost her father and had to bear all the burdens she had to take in his place.... She was still so young and kind of innocent. Sometimes Aveline simply forgot all about her duties as an heiress to one of the most important houses of Ozirion - house Fiore.
Well, what else would you expect from a teenager?
- So, my dear Aveline, how is your deeply beloved mother, lady Shea doing? Is her health stable right now?
Yeah, wow, what an interesting topic. You definetely should talk about your parents on a date. Aveline just laughed softly to that. Lucio seemed to be quite inexperienced in romance.
- Oh, ma maman... She is doing wonderfully. What about you, Lucio? I reckon you had some heart issues last week. Is everything back to normal now?
- Of course. I was quite fortunate. It was nothing serious.
- I am glad to hear that. It would pain me enormously if anything would have happened to you..
And then Aveline understood that she didn't even know what to talk about with Lord de Montoya. Moreover, she realized didn't know anything about Lucio. His interests, his passions... Nothing.
And that started to worry her greatly...
