I never thought that she would think like that. I was so selfish. I didn't even try to understand what she was thinking. It was so painful to listen something like this. "Nothing will happen Jenn. I am here with you." I said and looked at her face. "I don't want to take risk Eric. I don't want to do anything to harm my kid." she responded.
"Let's go home" I hugged her and kissed her on her forehead. I never thought that she would think like this. We actually didn't go anywhere after we knew we are pregnant.
we went home and I fed her a lot. She threatened me telling she would puke on me, if I feed her more. I don't fucking care even if she puked on me. I just wanted them to be health. She slept off after sometime.
I got a text from Jenn's dad. I didn't know why he texted me. But he asked me to meet him in his office. I went to his office to meet him. I felt so uncomfortable. We never actually spoke after my marriage with his daughter except today in Jenn's office.
I went inside his office. I loved this place because this was where me and Jennet for the first time.
"Sir, You called me" I said and stood in front of his office desk. He looked at me. "Don't be very formal Eric. Sit" he said and looked at me. For a second, I felt like I was a teenager got caught by his girlfriend's father. "Hy old man, your daughter is my wife. I hope you don't forget it." I thought to myself. I sat silently and looked around the room. I smiled to myself at the thought of my first meeting with Jenn. Oh my God, I felt like it happened just yesterday.
He pulled a binder from his drawer and placed it on the table. I looked up at him. "Jenn darling. I am not doing anything. Your father called me and doing some shit I don't know. if you want to be angry, then the person should be your father." I thought to myself and swallow.
"Open it Eric" he said. I took the binder and opened it. It was a Aspirations legal papers and it showed my name as a company owner. I looked up at him. I was so scared. I didn't want to play any games with him and fight with Jenn.
"I am giving you this company" he said matter of fact. "Sir, I don't want this" I gave back the documents. "Your wedding gift Eric" he said and smiled. Oh fuck, I have heard this words somewhere. Ohh fuck, I said this to her on our wedding day. I understood. He was trying to give my own medicine to me. I am not buying it man.
"No Sir. I don't want this. I am so happy with what I have now. I don't want to create any misunderstanding between me and Jenn by accepting this offer." I said sternly. "This isn't an offer Eric. Aspiration is my dream. I believed that only Jenn could take care of that. But she is so happy with her own company. So You are the only person I can believe now. I want you to take care of Aspiration when I am not here anymore." he said. I was so shocked to listen to that. He believed me... "But, sir" I said. "No Eric. I understood that you would do anything to make Jenn Happy. I am no more worried about her. All I think about now is Aspiration. I thought you are the right person to take care." he said softly. I was not able to say anything. "Let me discuss with Jenn about this sir." I took the binder and got up. "Jenn would be so happy if you come to our home. Thank you Sir." I said and turned to leave. "I would be so happy if you call me dad instead of Sir." he said. I was shocked again. I had to go alive to my Jenn man. He was give me so much shock.
I turned and looked at him again. "Ok dad." I blurted. He smiled at me.
