The next day morning someone came and knocked the door. We both were in a deep sleep after so much hard work in the night. I knew that it might be John or my other bodyguards. I wrapped towel around my waist and went to open the door. I opened the door slightly and saw who was that. It was John and he was holding Jenn's Award in one hand and some files in another. When he saw me with towel, his lips twitched.
"Congratulations Boss" He said and smiled.
"Thanks John". I took everything from his hand and closed the door. I went to bed and laid down beside her. I snuggled closer to her and wrapped my hand around her waist under blanket tightly and rested my head on her nap and inhaled her scent. I felt like I am home again. I love her so much. She is someone who told me that she liked me even when I hurt her. She is someone who was ready to give me a family even when we didn't know the future. For each thought I tightened my grip on her waist.
When I was thinking about these things, she suddenly murmured something.
"Eric, you are holding my waist to tightly. You woke me up." She murmured again.
"Sorry baby. I didn't know." I said as I loosened my grip. She turned to face me. I took the award from side table and gave that to her.
"I am so proud of you baby doll" I smiled and said. She snuggled closer to me.
"Do you remember our first meeting?" I asked her. She smiled and said "Yeah, in dad's office". "I didn't know that you were the naughtiest one till we met again" I teased her. "You are the naughtiest one. I didn't do anything when we were in your office. It was all you" She said angrily. "I am talking about that one. I am talking about the night when you drank for the first time and passed out. John took you to the hotel and I was there with you for the entire night" I said casually. She suddenly stiffened. "You were there? I thought that was my dream. I remembered everything as a dream." She said. Thank God, atleast she remembered that night. That was our best time. We both confessed our feeling for the first time there.
"Can you come home with me?" I whispered while stroking her hair. She looked at my eyes and smiled.
"Can you help me with something then?" She asked with a doubt.
I frowned and waiting for her to continue.
"I don't want to take care of dad's business and help you in your business. Will you help me to start my company? Now I am working under some well known fashion designing company. I want to establish my own brand. Can you help me please? She asked innocently.
"Anything for you babe. I just want to see you happy always. If you don't like something, just tell me. I will never allow anyone to force you to do anything you don't like."
"I love you Eric" She hugged me tightly.
"Sorry baby doll. I messed up everything. I done everything which I should not have. I came back home to see you that day, console you and cry with you. But I found only the letter and your ring. I searched for your everywhere. Every day I missed you. Every night I felt the emptiness. Whatever I do, Returning back to the empty home and sleeping alone on cold bed is a pain Jenn. I don't want that again. I don't want to be in that position again. I am so sorry." I said and I cried. She cupped my chin with her both hands and kissed me.
