It has been a few weeks since Loni's sisters wedding. Still, Loni's heart aches when the words came out of her ex's mouth. Usually, her job would notified a message before the day of work, but lately, she hasn't been getting any. At home, Loni would just read manga books, watch anime, and just take many hours admiring her favorite k-pop boy band, BTS.
"Ding Dong!" Loni's doorbell apartment rang.
"Thank you so much!" Loni showed appreciation then bowed at the deliver man.
Her rice cakes arrived from her favorite food place. Suddenly, hearing a vibrate alert on her phone.
"Damn it, I have work tomorrow." Loni sadden her face.
She hated the fact that she had to go to work, but it was her mom. Stuffing the rice cakes in her face, she immediately went to bed.

Looking from a couch potato to a stunning lady, Loni woke up smiling. As she got into the uber, she put in her headphones, not AirPods, since they were so expensive. Listening to Jungkook, 'Euphoria', she hummed with a smile on her face.

"Loni. It's been a couple of weeks, huh." The mean, skinny lady stood by Loni's desk.
"Y-yeah." Loni laughed nervously.
"Do me a favor, and get a signature from Mr. Reo"
"Why?"
"We need him to approve of out project." The mean skinny lady rolled her eyes.
Up Loni went as the elevator went high and higher.
A light knock on the double door as Loni went in.
"E-Excuse me, Mr. Reo, we would need you to sign this." Loni trying to not make eye contact.
"Bring it here." His stern voice echoed.
Suddenly, being nervous, Loni dropped the pile of papers.
"You clumsy fool." Reo facepalmed his head.
"Geez, what's the matter with him today?" Loni thought.
"Here, take it." Reo gestured to go.
"Thank you." Loni quickly went out.
Exhaling, Loni closed the door. Why did she felt so nervous when Reo was angry?

Meeting one of her office friends in the lounge, they ate and discussed.
"When I came into his office, he was like so angry." Loni shivering from the moment.
"I heard his mom is making him go to Italy for a week."
"No wonder he was so mad." Loni chuckled.

At the hospital, Loni looked at her mother, tears rolling down.
"I got you most of the money. I will try to work hard for the rest of it." Loni held her mother's hand.

Scrolling through her email, Loni saw an ad for a nurses position. Thinking it through, she can always help and care for her mom for the future. Loni clicked on it then waited a few seconds.
"The training will be on Tuesday at 9 am, please be early."
Loni eyes lit up. She was going to be a nurse.
