Loni sat in her room, listening to gentle music.
"No, no no! This can't be!" Loni suddenly gasping from reading her manga.
"Why would she choose her best friend over her crush?!" She continued whining.
"Loni, you better shut up from reading those stupid comics!" Loni's older brother shouted at her.
Loni sighed.
She paused her music, and closed her manga book. She needed some fresh air for gracious sake. She slipped on her bunny slippers, then headed out. Around the corner, she went to her local library/cafe store.
"Oh hey there Loni! I was just about to close the shop!" The storekeeper chuckled lightly.
"I'm so sorry! I just needed to refresh my manga." Loni feeling guilty.
"It's absolutely fine, go ahead!" The storekeeper gestured to walk.
Down the manga isle, Loni had a variety of manga she can select.
"Hmm, there's so many to choose from!" Loni admired.
"Ring!" The door bell opened.
In came two bodyguards guarding a man. The storekeeper took a step back, frightened from the entrance.
"Excuse me sir, are you the owner?" A deep voice echoed.
Loni looked up from the manga, and quietly ease dropped.
"Uh y-yes." The storekeeper shivered.
"Well, by the end of the day tomorrow, this shop will belong to me." The man showed the storekeeper with the contract.
"No way!" Loni interrupted the conversation.
"Is she your daughter sir?" The man looked at Loni.
"No, she is not. Just one of my favorite customers that go here."
"You can't sell this store, it's basically heaven!" Loni defended.
"I need to sell this store Loni, my wife, is slowly dying." The storekeeper trying to not get tears to fall down.
Loni felt guilty once again. She loved this shop with all her heart, for it to get sold.
"Well then, who are you supposed to be?" Loni replied in a angry voice.
"I am Reo Asahi. The CEO of Asahi Corps." He stood proud.
Loni did not even know who he was.
"Well, I don't even know who you are so-" Loni chuckled.
"Don't try me little girl." Reo almost slamming her into the wall.
The next day.
"Ugh! That jerk is just so cruel!" Loni replayed the memory over and over again.
Loni screamed in her pillow.
"So, did you find a job yet?" Her best friend Martha asked.
"No... not yet." Loni looked down.
"Well, my boss gave this paper to me, and I think you would be suitable for this job." Martha smiled.
"What makes you think that?" Loni stuffed a spoonful of ice cream in her face.
"Girl, you literally have an IQ higher than the whole town!" Martha exclaimed.
"Okay, fine fine. When is the job interview?" Loni asked.
"Hmm, tomorrow at nine a.m." Martha looked on the paper.
"Ugh, I don't even wake up till eleven." Loni sighed.
Tomorrow was going to be a crazy day for Loni.
