The blue figures continued to look at Gordan waiting for him to respond to the statement, but he just stood there in silence for several minutes.
"You look much different than you did before. Did something happen while we were sleeping?"
Gordan closed his fists and let out his breath slowly to try and get ahold of himself.
"You missed quite a bit you know, too much. Sorry I didn't find you in time."
The child shook her head but still kept the same blank expression on her face.
"How could you have found me? After all weren't you trying to prevent the crisis which we discovered, while holding it from the king?"
Gordan flinched a bit thinking about the result which had come from him attempting to prevent the crisis from occurring.
"They didn't want to be saved, it was a waste of time, I should have spent my time doing something that actually had a meaning, like saving all of you."
The child was quiet for a moment and then they let out a long sigh of exasperation.
"What was the death count for their idiocy?"
Gordan looked at the child with a blank expression.
"There were no survivors. Every single last one of them were slaughtered and the nation faded out of exsistance without so much as a trace."
Again the child was quiet, and this time the boy was the one to speak up.
"So that means you are the one that she always went on about, as such a crazy powerfull individual?"
Gordan looked at the girl with a bit of an inquisitive expression, but he didn't say anything to her.
"Well now that we all know each other we should get down to the real matter at hand. Gordan, I have a request for you as you are a friend. I need you to free the bones of the people from this ship and let me and Doss deal with our revenge against the humans who put us through that living hell. I have the feeling that you know all about that and can most likely give us all of the information that we need to prevent unnecessary blood shed."
Gordan nodded and allowed a small speck of his soul to emerge from the palm of his hand and float toward the two glowing figures.
"I can't say that I've been able to really test out this ability all that much but it should give you the information that you are looking for. And don't worry about the bones, I can return them to their families, monsters included."
The small speck split in two and landed on each of their foreheads before emediatly transfering all of the information that Gordan had on the case, which turned out to be quite a bit.
The situation was turning out to be quite beneficial to Gordan, since he would no longer have to return to the human nations. He could send the body's back via magic so it wouldn't really be to much of a problem. Still the fact that it had happened in this way was still quite a sad thing for him to deal with. Fortunately all of those who were on his own hit list were also included in theirs so he wouldn't have to play clean up.
"This is more than enough information, thank you friend. Turns out it was worth it to stay in this place instead of moving on. I'm sad that this will be the last time we can see each other but it has been a pleasure knowing you."
The ghost smiled and then both of them suddenly disappeared without a trace. Soon the water began to flood back into the boat as the memory began to fade away with the extraction of its source, and all that was left for Gordan to do, was collect the body's and return them.
Ignoring the water Gordan began to collect the different body's until all of the missing persons were discovered. He put each and everyone of them into his screen so that he wouldn't worry about damaging them while he made it back to the surface where he could begin to send the body's back to their proper locations.
*Message received*
The notification took him back a bit since he hadn't worked with the messaging system as much as the other features, but since he would have some down time while he made his way back there wouldn't be any harm in reading it, even though it could potentially be a hazard to take his attention away from his primary objective. He clicked the accept button and began to read the message from the Designer.
-Thanks for responding so quickly, I really appreciate the help. Just incase of a problem with the modifications that were proformed on you I put some items in your inventory to help you with that. They should help just incase you start to have a sensory overload. I am thinking about adding in a currency zone where you can use a special type of currency to gain items which would otherwise be difficult to obtain what are your thoughts on it?
_The Designer-
Gordan once more took his time reading the message and thought the idea over in his head while he swam back to the shore once more. The idea was a bit of an interesting one, but it also was potentially too useful, and might make the game a bit more mundane.
When he reached the shore his sences were once more bombarded by the various smells and sounds which were not serving to improve his headache, which as he was seeing could in fact become much more painfull to deal with the more he left it alone. He quickly opened his screen to find three new items which had been added since receiving the letter from the Designer, and all of then looked rather odd in appearance. Gordan clicked on the first one to try and pull it out only to find a small note pop up detailing the uses of the strange item in front of him.
*Ear buds, used to block out sound. If paired with berrian objects sound can be transferred into them.*
Gordan quickly pulled then out and placed then in his ears to see how well they worked, and emidiatly he found that his hearing had gone down to what it had been before all of the changes had been made. They also seemed to be secure in his ears so he moved onto the next item in his inventory.
*Lighter. Use for quick fire without consequences toward magic*
The description confused him slightly since it didn't really have anything to do with the changes which had been made, but when he read the next item he understood what the use of the other object was.
*Pack of cinders. A healthy variation to that of the cigarette which is know in my own world, only this type is not addictive, nor does it cause health problems. Their purpose is to help mask Scents better, it also helps to improve health without the use of magic. Each one works for half a day. Burn the end with the lighter to start the cinder.*
While he had no idea what a cigarette could be, he assumed it was similar to a item which was used by the people in the south of the human continent due to its appearance.
Gordan pulled out one of the cinders and the lighter in order to quickly get rid of the still nauseating smells. As soon as the cinder was lit Gordan put away the lighter and breathed in the scent which was coming from the cinder. He could feel his headache begin to fade away as he breathed in the odd flavor of the cinder. He couldn't really tell what the scent was but it was rather pleasant. He was having a bit of trouble holding it in his claws and he needed to get some work done so he placed the end which was not lit into the ground under him so that the smell would reach him anyway. After that he began to draw the circles to transport the bones to their various locations.
