A week has passed by since Sun Hee had signed the contract. She thought that she should move in with her husband for that what happens in normal marriages usually or at least get the chance to see his face, and know his name and age.
The curiosity that brewed within in her almost killed her. It was as if a bullet was few millimetres away from her small body.
She truly wanted to move from here. It wasn't to meet her husband rather to not face her unbearable mother. The only thing she asked for was love from her mother yet that was not given to her.
Walking around the house whilst gazing at the luxurious objects surrounding her, instead of the works of art, she was appreciating the plate filled with food.
Currently in the courtyard, Sun Hee's line of sight landed on the pool, and fear to approach it rose with her. When she turned her back on the pool to return to the house, a black car, followed by two more, parked in front of the large mansion.
The black tinted windows of the vehicle made it impossible for Sun Hee to gaze at the inside of the vehicle.
Getting down from the backseat of the car, a man began to walk in the direction of Sun Hee. The old man told her to quickly get into the car without providing further explanation.
"W-Wait, I have to take my things," She voiced out, turning out.
"Miss, we can not allow you to bring something that is already used." His voice sounded serious yet it conveyed tranquility at the same time.
"Excuse me, but there are several objects that are a necessity to me."
Sun Hee really needed some valuables such as her diplomas, photos, notebooks, and anything that would help her gain more knowledge on her past.
Her mother, Kuyng Shin, was just outside the bedroom's door, waiting for her daughter to come out whilst she tapped her heel's tip on the floor and crossed her arms. Sun Hee left the room with couple of boxes, which covered her face and made her wobble side to side. Standing in front of her was her mother, who had words on the tip of her tongue, but because of the boxes, she was unable to see her mother.
Without having an idea on it, Sun Hee ignored her mother, and the 'nice' mother of her was humiliated in front of all the employees present in the house.
As soon as Sun Hee arrived at the patio, several bodyguards took the boxes, allowing her to breathe in peace. The old man was impressed with Sun Hee. She appeared to be as delicate as a flower, but seeing her carry those boxes that way, the delicate flower had become a bear protecting its terrain.
The old man politely asked Sun Hee to get in the car. Wearing a huge smile that reached from her one ear to the other, she nodded. Wondering about whether or not she was going to meet her husband, she didn't realize she was moving her leg side to side and destroyed her hairstyle by touching her hair continuously. The beautiful seemed to have survived the greatest hurricane in history.
"Miss Sun Hee, are you alright?"
"Ah, yes...yes."
Although Sun Hee claimed to be well at that time, nervousness was gnawing within her.
'What would her husband be like?'
She wondered on that question without a stop— her mind looking like a grated disc at that moment.
A while later, the poor, old man had to deal with her continuous questioning
"What is your name? Do you like your job? How do you feel working with my husband? Is he a good person? What do you like to do?"
On one hand, he understood the adorable, young lady's reason for questioning, but on the other hand, he begged for someone to order her to shut up. The old man accelerated the car a little for he wanted the journey to last as less as possible.
Sun Hee meanwhile dedicated herself to counting the passing cars. There was something that aroused curiosity within the old man. Why did the young master choose a woman who spent her time counting cars?
