"Sys, why is your voice like that?" asked Dean. He knew Sys was part of the system but Sys never talked like that since they started talking to each other.
'…' Sys not saying anything. Sys did not respond to Dean. Dean looked at the notification and waiting for Sys answered but there was no answer from Sys.
"Register slime core," Dean confirmed.
'Register slime core' confirmed Sys and the core lighted up and bit by bit vanished from Dean's hand. 'Registering normal slime core complete' said Sys in his computerized voice.
'Okay, done. Now you have registered the slime core. You can now create a new slime' said Sys.
"What happen just now? Why you suddenly become like normal system?" asked Dean curious about what had happened.
"I can't help it. When confirmation like what happened earlier happen, I will automatically become like that until you done,' said Sys explaining what happened earlier.
"Okay, then can I create new slime now?" asked Dean and his heart pounding fast because he was excited of killing a new kind of slime.
"You can but it is better to get the item drop and soul first. It is unsafe to create a monster in the wild like this,' said Sys.
"Okay then." Dean looked at the other slime still jumping happily even though their friend just got killed by Dean. "I'm sorry, fellow slime." Dean felt guilty but he killed the slime one by one.
A few minutes later, all the slime in the group was killed. However, Dean was unhappy.
"Isn't the item drop 50% but why I did not get any item drop? How unlucky can I be?" said Dean with his head dropped.
'Dean, let's find another slime' said Sys. Dean nodded. He put all the slime body and core into his storage and went to find another slime. Dean carefully walked on the prairie while searching for slime because he was afraid another monster attacked him. He found two groups of slime and killed them but still no item dropped and soul.
After half an hour, 'Normal slime killed. Normal slime core and slime pillow obtain. Do you want to register slime pillow?' asked Sys. After killing about 30 slimes, Dean finally got item dropped from slime, the slime pillow.
Slime pillow was a soft and comfortable pillow. It was white in color just like the slime. The pillow was not big, it was the same size as the slime.
"Register slime pillow," said Dean. The pillow went through the same thing as the core and disappeared. A few seconds later, Sys confirmed the registration. Dean checked his system to see what happened when he registered all these things. However, he cannot see anything new happened.
'You can see it later when you unlock the other feature,' said Sys. Dean closed his system and went looking for more slime. He now needed the slime soul before he went back to his room. He also hoped to get more slime pillow so that he can sleep much more comfortable in his room.
Dean went around the prairie and kept killing any slime he found. Soul was the hardest thing to get so Dean spent his time until evening when he finally got himself the slime soul. Dean registered the slime soul and made a triumphant pose. He was so happy he finally got what he wanted.
Sys urged Dean to go back as fast as possible because it was almost night and it will be too dangerous for him. Dean agreed and immediately went back to his room at camp. He arrived at the camp but before he went back to his room, Dean went to get some food first and sold all the slime body he got. He did not get much money but it was enough for him for two to three days.
Dean only sold the slime body but not the pillow. The pillow can be used by anyone but if it was a weapon or armor or skill, only the one who compatible with the weapon, armor, skill can used it. The pillow was just a normal item so everyone can used it. The slime pillow can be sold for quite a high price due to it softness but Dean wanted all that softness for himself.
When he went around searching for the slime soul, he got lots of slime pillow. He killed hundreds of slimes before he got the slime soul.
'Dean, do you really need that much of pillow?' asked Sys.
"Obviously. After walking around a whole day, I want to sleep on a soft and comfortable bed and pillow," said Dean happily. Sys sighed but he can understand Dean and he thought maybe that can help Dean reduced his fatigue.
After Dean got back to his room, he pulled out all the slime pillow he got on his bed and quickly went for shower. After he finished, he ran and jumped on his bed filled with many slime pillows. He made a weird face.
"Huah~ what a bliss," said Dean while smiling.
'Are you that happy?' asked Sys. Dean quickly nodded while smiling. Sys let Dean rested for a while before they can start creating new monster.
"I think I get enough rest. Sys, let's create a new slime now," said Dean excitedly. Dean stood up from his bed and sat on the floor.
'Before we start, I need to tell you that you can only create one monster per week. After you create this monster, you need to wait for a week before you can create another one' said Sys. Dean intently listened to Dean and he nodded.
'Do you need me to control the system or you want to do that yourself?' asked Sys.
"I tell you what I want, and you just follow me," said Dean. Sys understood and he opened the monster creation menu and chose customization.
'First, you need to insert the monster core. Since you want to make a new slime, you need to choose the slime core. The customization is used to customize the existing monster into a new one by customize some of its parameter' explained Sys. Dean chose the slime core and possible data for customization appeared.
There were size, color and weight that can be customized.
"So, I can change all this and it will become a new species of slime?" asked Dean curious.
'Yes, just choose what you want to change' said Sys. Dean put his hand on his chin thinking of something. He thought of something and said to Sys.
"Let's change the slime color. I want to change the color to blue," said Dean. Sys heard Dean and change the slime color from colorless to blue.
'Do you want to change anything else,' asked Sys. Dean shook his head and confirmed that there will be no more change.
"I want to make slime with many different colors," said Dean. Sys confirmed the choice and the new slime data appeared in front of Dean.

'You need to name it yourself. You are the creator after all' said Sys. Dean did not think long and decided on a name.
"I will name you, Blue Slime." Said Dean with a big smile on his face. Sys confirmed Dean's name and he create the blue slime. A meter bar appeared, and it started filled bit by bit. A minute later, Dean got a notification from Sys.
'New species of slime create. Blue slime' the notification read. Dean read the notification and he suddenly went blank.
'What's wrong Dean?' asked Sys. Dean blinked his eyes once.
"Where is my blue slime?" asked Dean.
'Huh? Obviously in the wild,' said Sys.
"Eh?!!! Wait, I need to hunt it in the wild?" asked Dean.
'Huh? Of course,' said Sys.
"I thought it will appear in front of me and I need to kill it," said Dean.
'It is not working like that you dummy. Whatever you create will appear in the wild. You need to search for them by yourself' explained Sys.
"You should have told me that earlier. You can read my mind so you should know what I think. I get excited for nothing. Then, do I need to go search for them now?" asked Dean.
'The blue slime will start appearing tomorrow morning. Whenever you create new monster, they will appear the morning next day' said Sys.
"Sigh~ I guess I will go to sleep now…" Dean wanted to go to sleep and he thought of something. "Sys, we collect too many slime cores. What should we do with it? No one can use it anyway."
'I forget to tell you that you can use that to upgrade your registered core slime to higher grade' said Sys. 'Do you want to upgrade?'
"Then I will lose my normal grade slime core," said Dean worrying that he will lose his normal grade slime core.
'No, you won't lose it. Once you upgrade the core, you can choose either to use normal core or elite core to create your new monster. And I only need one hundred of the normal cores to upgrade the core to elite grade' said Sys.
"Then, better not waste the core and upgrade it. Then, how about the leftover?" asked Dean.
'Keep it. We can use that in the future' said Sys.
