In a very famous high class bar, two guys sat in a VIP room on the 8th floor. One in a sea blue shirt paired with a khaki trouser and the other in a dark blue shirt paired with a white trouser.
They look breathtakingly handsome.
In the center of the room was a round glass table, three wine stood on the glass table. Emil was sitting on the single sofa chair while Daniel sat on a double sofa chair. They sat across from each other and they both had wine glass in their hand.
And just like how a student learns everything from his mentor, Daniel from childhood had learned and copied everything his brother does.
With the exception of their face, their auras and even their height are almost the same.
So, as they sat in the room, one look at them and you needn't be told that third persons aren't allowed.
"How was your recuperation?" Emil's eyes flashed with sadness when he said these words
Two years ago, Daniel had suffered from cancer, and God being so good, their family doctor was able to detect the signs at the earliest.
Emil remembered how he had felt that day when the doctor told them of the illness.
The doctor had said; " Am sorry to inform you that Daniel's system is showing signs of cancer. But the good news is, it's in the first stage and can be treated".
The doctor's last sentence was what comforted the family, but Mrs Tang wasn't comforted in the least.
She cried and cried till her eyes dried out !
Daniel was sent overseas under the guidance of their family doctor and that's the reason for his two years overseas.
"Nothing new than you already know" Daniel replied but he knew this isn't the answer his brother want.
Few seconds of silence and Daniel continue to speak
"The process was painful but endurable because you were there"
Being there for people doesn't mean you have to be physically present, but your presence must be felt thou you may not be around.
Never once did Emil go to visit his brother and Daniel knew and understand why.
His brother Emil couldn't bare to see him in pain .
"So tell me, who's this girl I've been hearing about?" Daniel's sudden change of topic confused Emil, he was lost.
He knitted his eyebrows staring at the smirking Daniel.
A sudden realisation hit him.
"Who's the informer?"
"hahaha, so it's true." Daniel chuckled
"Why do I feel like I fell into your trap?" Emil peered at Daniel
" Your brother got himself a personal maid. That was what Nanny told me, and I did my own deduction"
"oh no, she betrayed me and ruined my surprise !" Emil dramatically held his head in his hands and exclaimed
"She didn't betray you, your feelings sold you out. Nanny just told me a fact" Daniel was wondering what kind of girl could easily become his brother's personal maid. And is that even the truth!
"She's the one" Emil suddenly declared as if he could read Daniel's mind. But, his declaration threw Daniel's mind off.
"She's the one?" Daniel repeated Emil's words
How could Daniel not know "the one"!
There was and still is only one girl who was and is special to Emil. Daniel know how his brother met her like the palm of his hand .
Emil had repeatedly told him the story like a broken record !?
But what he never heard was her name. Even his brother didn't know her name !
As they grew up, the story and the girl has become a part of him.
He remembered the day they personally went to the airport. Emil had dragged him along to the airport to seek some answers. They both were eighteen at that time.
They had used their family's influence and some money to get a hold of the CCTV footage of that day.
In fact, he was mesmerized by the little girl in the video.
" So you finally found her".
"Yelp, I did but its the other way round. She found me" Emil said
"How come? ,don't tell me she also love you!" Daniel's face was full of smiles. He was sincerely happy for his brother.
Emil was amazed at how his brother's brain works. How could he come to such a conclusion ?
He had the urge to take his brother to a psychiatrist ! He just said she found him alright !
"I don't know. Too soon to tell".
Daniel could feel the sadness in his brother's voice but saw how hopeful his eyes looked.
" Am sure it's the will of God. Have you wondered how she ended up at your doorstep in the whole of Country A?, Who knows, maybe she also got attracted just like you did." Daniel encouraged his brother
Emil smiled and poured himself another glass.
Who else could encourage him if not for his best friend !
It was around 8:30pm when they arrived at the mansion. What they saw and heard when they entered the living room amazed them.
In the center of the living room sat the maids, together with Yvonne and Aunt Phillis on the carpeted floor in a circle form.
Each had a plate of chips before her as they sang turn by turn !
They were about to announce their presence when it suddenly got to Yvonne's turn to sing.
Emil placed his right index finger on his lips to hush Daniel.
He wants to hear her sing.
"Every night in my dreams , I see you... I feel you........." She sang Celine Dion's song "My heart will go on"
The smoothing sound of her voice was a lullaby to the ears. Emil and Daniel were shocked to her such a voice.
They were both in the entertainment industry and especially into music. Daniel was a pianist who plays his own beat songs and Emil had been his coach ever since.
So, how could they not know a real talent if they saw one !
