One fine morning in the mansion, aunt Phillis shook her head in amusement and thought ; "Are they really employer and employee?"
She couldn't help but smile at the two bickering "kids" having breakfast.
Its been one month since Yvonne lived in the mansion.
She and Emil had never agreed on anything instantly. They would always disagree to finally agree with each other's view.
It wasn't as if they couldn't agree in the first place but Emil would always find ways to disagree with her every decision because he finds her cute when she's irritated .
"Sir, I've already ironed this suit for you"
"Really?, but I prefer to wear something different"
"sir, I asked the chef to prepare something light for your breakfast."
He will then smirk and reply; but I feel like having something heavy for breakfast.
Sir, I asked the driver to prepare the black car
No, I want to take my red sports car
What would you like to eat for lunch ?
"Lunch?, forget it, am on a fast!"
Oh yeah, tell that to unborn kids, they may believe you. You just ate breakfast okay? Yvonne would angrily mumble to herself.
These and many other little arguments had been going on for the past one month.
How can life be boring for aunt Phillis with Yvonne around.
Ever since Yvonne arrived,her boy had been living life freely. She could see the joy in his eyes whenever he's around Yvonne.
I must act fast before this pretty girl decide to leave ! aunt Phillis thought
"Come to the office with me" Emil said
"huh!, what will I do over there?" Yvonne questioned
"To sleep, duh, of course to help me. What else? Emil chuckled
" But...."
"No buts. get in the car" he coolly said while opening the backdoor for her.
Yvonne wanted to decline and sit in the passenger's seat in front but knowing how the guy's brain work, she decide against it.
" He's so full of himself and would never take NO for an answer! Narcissistic!" She grudgingly thought.
Wait ! Narcissistic? I will definitely add this to his names !

Emil looked at the girl whose lips were slightly pouted and felt victorious. But what he didn't notice was that, thou her lips were pouted,it wasn't because she lost to him but because she was secretly praising herself.
A few seconds in the car and Yvonne was lost in her memories. This was the first time in sixteen years that she sat in a car as comfy as this one.
She was six years when she last sat in such a car. It was also before her father's death.
She lived life as a princess, but it all changed with her father's death.
That's how life is, some people are born with silver spoons in their mouths but with a sudden twist, their life changes. Likewise for the poor.
Yvonne had all the luxuries but fate was too cruel to snatch everything away from her.
Snatch.,that's how she prefers to put it but.....
"What's on your mind?" her thoughts came to a halt with Emil's voice.
"My dad" she answered and straightened up.
Emil saw her "I don't want to talk about it now look" and didn't probe further.
"She will tell me if she ready"
he comforted himself with these words.
"Don't you want to work in an office?" he inquired
"I'm just a high school graduate" she simply answered
"So, do you have plans of furthering your education?"
This wasn't the real question Emil wanted to ask but because he respects her decision, he chose this question instead.
"I will only if I earn enough savings to be able to support myself"
Emil was hurt when he heard her answer but didn't allow it to show on his handsome face.
"Let's make a deal, I will sponsor your education and in return, you make me proud by studying hard"
Is this even a deal? What will he gain from this deal? Yvonne wondered
Emil saw her reaction and smiled in his head.
No one will suspect that, he was already grooming his future wife.
He wanted Yvonne to be able to stand on her own two feet and this conversation was the main reason why he told her to come with him to the office.
Emil pulled some forms from his document and handed it to Yvonne.
"The driver will bring you back home after he drops me at the company"
Yvonne was confuse. She looked between the forms and Emil.
This guy can be thoughtful at times.
"You like what you see?" Emil turned to Yvonne when he felt her gaze on him.
"Thoughtful my foot!" Yvonne frowned while Emil smiled.
