When Yvonne woke up the next day, it was bright outside. She had a rare good sleep. She wondered when she slept this peaceful.
"Could her sound sleep be the result of her dream !"She smirked mischievously
What a refreshing dream !
Hehe, can't wait to see " Mr. Puppy! " She beamed
Emil left some important documents at home. He decided to retrieve them himself. He got out of his car and marched forward to the door.
He was surprise at what he saw, no, precisely of whom he saw!
A girl stood quietly in the center of the living room. She looked so inexplicably beautiful even when she was doing nothing. Her long lashes fluttered under her pretty-shaped brows.
Her small twinkling eyes were moving and her little straight nose stood tall. Her cherry pink lips were pouting slightly, even her exquisite jaw was curved.
She wasn't wearing any expensive cloth but her simple blue jeans and white shirt look very nice on her.
He fixed his gaze on the girl before him. He was sure she's the girl he has been searching for all these years.
But, something was different about her. Her long hair was cut to shoulder level and her pure and innocent smile was lost and replaced with a forced one.
"Good afternoon sir, my name is Yvonne and am the new maid".
Emil was brought out of his thoughts when he heard her smooth sounding voice.
He fixed his gaze on her face again trying to understand why she has change so much, and thus making Yvonne nervous.
" What are you again? " he asked
"I'm the maid the agency sent" she replied
There was a frown on Emil's face when he heard her.
He recalled their encounter years ago and his frowned face relaxed. But right then, he caught sight of a faint mark on her neck and his eyes looked pained and sharp.
"What could have happened to leave such a mark?" he wondered.
"Yvonne Qin...Yvonne... Yvonne....." he kept mentioning her name as if to put it to memory.
Yvonne "..." "what's wrong with this guy"! " Is my name some chanting words? "
She looked up at him..."What a strange guy!"
Emil smirked at her cute reaction. He felt at peace.
The servants who were present felt relieved. They thought their master will get angry when he saw a stranger(Yvonne) at the mansion.
In fact,they thought their master looked peaceful for the first time in many years.
Yvonne was oblivious to the happenings around her. She continued looking at Emil, puzzled as to why he didn't say anything after suddenly "chanting" her name.
After a long while, Emil finally spoke again; "from today onwards, you're my personal maid. Do you know your duty?"
"Duty?"
"How can she know if she just arrived here!"
The head maid saw her questioning look and answered:
"Your duty is to be master's personal maid, you will see to his meals, clean his room, lay his bed, see to his laundry, and ....and...Put him to sleep.
Emil "...."
Yvonne"...."
Servants"..."
"Put him to sleep!"
"How old is he, six ?ten ?....
The head maid saw the awkward look all those present had and felt a storm coming.
She smiled weirdly and took two steps back
" I need to check if the food is ready" she said and prepared to leave
"Wait!, show Miss Qin to her room" he coldly commanded
After saying that,he took large steps to leave but abruptly stopped as if remembering something.
"Take her upstairs to the room next to the study room". He left in a hurry after saying that. But,nobody saw red his ears became !.
" Upstairs, it seems heaven is on my side!" Yvonne screamed within her.
Can there be any good news better than this ? NO!!!
