"ME!"
Shi asked with surprise evident in her voice,
"Yes, you."
Yang told her with conviction.
"Yang...I don't know, I really have low intolerance, even last time at the bar, I only drank because Xinghe was with me and because we were at that specific bar.''
"What's so special about that bar?"
Yang asked,
"Oh well, that bar is owned and controlled by Yifeng. So I knew that nothing could ever happen to me there.''
Yang nodded his head in understanding as he reflected that the Li family really had so many hidden businesses which were not known by the general public but also by the members of other prominent families.
Shi noticed Yang's silence and thought that he was displeased from her rejection.
'Oh God, maybe he misunderstood that I do not want to drink with him!'
Shi thought to herself as she tried to tell Yang.
''Yang it's not that I don't want to spend time with you... wait... WHAT, no that's not it!.... It's not that I am not drinking because it's with you, but because I really don't wanna drink, if it was someone else too I will not drink with them too, if, say that any of my brothers came then too I will not drink...."
Yang tried to suppress his laughter to himself as he saw his little kitten ramble on and on and on.
Seeing his smile, Shi stopped as she took a deep breath and said.
"You didn't really understand anything, did you?"
Upon hearing her, Yang was unable to suppress it any longer as he finally laughed out loud and shook his head.
''Truthfully speaking Shi, I really didn't understand anything."
"Well, of course, you didn't."
Shi grumbled to herself before facing Yang and telling him,
''Well I will drink with you, that's what I was basically trying to tell you.''
"No."
Yang declared the second he heard her,
He may not be able to fully understand what she was talking about, but he understood enough to know that she did not wish to drink.
''Shi I promised you before and I will promise you once again I will never in this life force you to do something you do not wish to do and always remember that you never have to consider me or my feelings while taking any decisions.''
