In a village blessed with good harvest and green pastures with grazing cattle and playing children, there was an old, decrepit house in which lived an old woman who always gathered all the children in the evenings and told them stories while sitting in a rocking chair knitting sweaters for the children. She gave them sweets and home-baked cookies after story-time.
