It costs a 30 gold per pill, this was a major deterrence for potential buyers since the effects of the pill and its price aren't matching. 30 gold cards is enough for someone to buy a set of steel armors and weapons, rather than relying on a pill that leaves a potential danger to the body, they might as well save it for less risky purchase.
