Henry made sure a bedroom was prepared for White as they arrived. He had taken her to her room, carrying her upstairs. He spent the afternoon with her before leaving to his own room.
Evening came, and White was still sleeping when a woman in her late 40s opened the door and walk in. The woman gently rub her arm and shoulder to wake her up; luckily White wasn't a strong sleeper and easily woke up. She rubbed her tired eyes and look at the woman confused.
"Who are you?" she ask, looking at the woman with round eyes.
"Ginny ask me to wake you up, as it is late, dinner is ready. Ginny has ask you to attend dinner."
"okay, i'll be there in a minute" she replied softly.
The woman smiled and gave her a pile of clothes; they were already prepared for her. White took them and headed to the bathroom, she also made sure to brush her hair as it was now a mess.
She made her way downstairs, to the dinner room. Everybody was already seated, White quickly sat down next to Henry, smiling softly at him before she look at the family. Food quickly arrived and they all started to eat. Midway through the meal, Frederick spoke up.
"I will announce who you are on Monday"
White choked on her food as Henry spoke loudly "what??"
"I'm sorry sir, but not thank you... I apologise but i don't wish people to know who i am. I don't... consider you my father.. you have never been there for me, and i don't even consider my own mother, my mum." She replied "and if people were to know, it will be impossible for me to be with Henry, i care about him, sir. And if people were to know, so many people will pursue or follow me, and i don't accept that. So i apologise again."
"Dear she's right with one thing, if you announce who she is, those people will know she is alive, and you don't want what the past to come back"
White look confused at them, the past? Her being alive? What happened, she wondered what they were talking about.
After dinner, the two teenagers went to Henry's room to play video games, White had gotten stronger in just a few days of learning and she was already beating him in the game. He suddenly ask "Apart from our family, who else knows? I mean about that you are the headmaster's daughter?"
"um.... Liam does. I used to think his intentions were genuine, but i'm afraid not, well i'm not sure, he just seems on edge i guess. And we need to get rid of the books in the library at school, about your father in case someone found it as well. And we should be prepared if something comes out. I have a feeling it is going to happen" She explained softly, still focusing on the TV, however she soon stop as she realised Henry had stop playing and was looking at her "what?" she ask, "is there something on my face?".
He shook his head and sigh "i don't trust Liam to be honest, i never did, but you should be wary, i'm not going to stop you being friends with him for all i know, just be careful please, around him. I'm afraid of what will happen if you are near him and i am not there, i don't want to lose you" He expressed sadly, White sigh softly and kissed his cheek.
"I'll be careful" she promised. Henry smiled and pulled her into his arms as he hugged her. "I love you White" he whispered. "i love you too" she replied quietly. She closed her eyes, enjoying the warmth as she softly fell asleep. Henry smiled and stood up, carrying her to his bed as he tucked her in, before he walk to the sofa and laid down on it. He went on his phone for awhile before he starred at the ceiling hopeless. He didn't know what he will do if he was to lose to Liam, he didn't want to, he was afraid. He sigh deeply and look over at his girlfriend, he would do everything to keep her, he couldn't let her go. He will never.
During the night, White begun to whimper and tossed in her sleep, Henry woke up due to the noise and approach her, he tried to calm her down in her sleep but nothing work. She just became more restless and whimpered more. Henry panic, he knew it was a nightmare and that he couldn't calm he down until he woke her up, only she sat up up first, screaming as she hugged herself. Henry quickly hugged her and soothed her down "shhh, its okay i am here, you don't have to worry... What did you dream about?" he ask.
"i... don't remember, but.. i... i .. just recalled something... R-remember when we did 7 minutes in heaven? With Liam and then you? I just remembered something Liam said after he found who i was... he said i was his betrothed wife.. and i am supposed to marry him... what does that mean? Since when was i suppose to marry someone" She cried, it seemed the yelled also woke other people because a knock had quickly made itself known. Henry yelled they could come in, and Ginny walk in.
"what happened? I heard a scream? Did Henry did something to you?"
"No... i just remembered something..." she spoke then look at Ginny "you might not know but i was wondering if you knew, or if the headmaster told you but, was i suppose... to marry Liam? Is it why i think my mum fake her death as well as me and my brother? Is Liam and his family dangerous?" she ask, Ginny pale a little, She was afraid to tell. But someone beat her to it.
"yes you were, and you are still since you are alive and found. Liam must know who you are since you just ask if you were supposed to marry him, perhaps he himself told you. But how did he found out? And how long did you knew?" Frederick spoke, as he stayed still at the centre of the door frame. Henry look at white, 'did she knew all along?' he thought, Ginny had the same expression.
"i.. uh... was curious and found a bibliography in the library... I saw the names, and the translation, then i saw my mother's name in the book. I guessed in that moment... Although i wasn't entirely sure, i never depended on who Henry was or who you were, Headmaster, i actually tried not to think about it. I don't mean to be rude, but i already said i did not consider you my father, i have no father. Liam surely had find out what i was reading, he check it out and read it and found out. The only reason he will not tell anyone its if i become his friend." She spoke lightly, fidgeting with her fingers as she look at the old man. Henry was holding onto her hand tightly. "And because i don't consider you my father, i will not marry Liam, I don't care. I will never. I love Henry, and i will always!" She said firmly, starring at him. Ginny chuckled and shook her head.
"the same stubbornness. White, you may not consider Frederick your father, but there's no denying that you are the same." She spoke. White look over at Henry, but he was looking at his father.
"if they marry, what will happen?" he ask
"the debt will be given and no one will be endangered, if they do not marry, her mother would be killed, her brother as well, and then she will die. I'm also afraid, that the both of you will also have to suffer, i am sorry about this, please forgive me.."
Henry lowered his head contemplating silently before he look at White, his face had become cold and emotionless, White begun to worry. "I'm sorry, but i care about my life more than that, i don't wish to die because you refuse to marry someone that will prevent all of us from dying..." He had taken all his courage to say those words, his heart felt painful as he saw the tears of the girl falling down her cheeks. Ginny was surprised to hear that, but she understood.
"I..." she sniffed before wiping her eyes and standing, she pushed through her way to the hallway, clutching at her chest as a painful feeling made its way, she thought it was because of what he said, but the next minute, she found herself falling, losing consciousness as her limp body rolled down the stairs. Henry wanted to rush after her, but he couldn't, he felt as powerless. On the other side, Ginny had rushed to her. "WHITE!!" she yelled as she ran down the stairs and knelled down. The boys heard the commotion, and followed. The housekeeper had a phone in his hand as he called the Ambulance, Ginny was cleaning the small wound on her head as she kept on bleeding, the last tear fell from her cheek into the woman's jumper. Perhaps, she thought Henry shouldn't have given up on her to quickly, she realised that White was like her, she would risk her life and everything she had just to be with the one she loved, she had done that once. She gave up on her family, and everything, fame and fortune just to be with the one she loved, but was left alone at the birth of her son, and then lived through so many years of torture as her ex-husband brought women home all the time, cheating on her before her. She felt relived when he died, a strange sentiments, and when she joined her family household again, she had to marry this man, who she quickly drew attached and begun loving him just like he is loving her as well. Henry had gave up on such a strong woman, she felt it was a shame. He gave up while she continue to fight, men were cowards.
