It had been just 5 minutes that Rosalie was apart from Robert but the warmth was all gone and the pain was, obviously back. He had introduced her to her new room- which was big and beautiful.
The dressing room attracted her the most because it had dresses ranging from casual outfits to gorgeous gowns and party-wear dresses.
She had been introduced to the housekeeper- Madam Lynn who was fortunately caring.
Rosalie hurriedly took a shower, feeling better after the hot water flowed through her body.
When she came out of the washroom, Madam Lynn was waiting for her.
"Miss, the doctor has come. Master asked you to join." She said.
"I'll be coming" Rosalie replied quietly.
As soon as the old woman went out of the room, Rosalie called Lucia to get an update about everything that had happened when she passed out.
"Hello. It's me" She whisper-yelled, afraid that anyone might eavesdrop.
"Y-yeah. You're.."came Lucia's voice from the other side but Rosalie cut her off saying-"Bonded, I know."
"So, what will you do now?" Lucia asked.
"I don't know, probably stay with him. I'm depended on him, anyway" Rosalie answered.
"You sound tired."
"I'm in pain Lucia. The bond is really annoying- my head hurts so much, the whole body is aching and I feel too dizzy." Rosalie replied.
"Heal with him" Lucia replied which sounded more like a command.
"Probably, I've got to go now. Take care" Rosalie said.
"You should heal. Bye"
And the call ended.
Rosalie was puzzled. She didn't want Robert to think that she was weak. However, she needed healing. She needed him to survive. She sat on the edge of the bed- the pain almost killing her. She didn't even notice when tears rolled down her cheeks.
"Why are you crying?" the angelic voice near her, questioned.
Rosalie snapped into reality at that instant and wiped off her tears, not answering him.
"Nothing, I'm fine" Rosalie said, doubting her lie.
"The doctor is waiting" Robert answered, walking out of the room.
Rosalie walked to his room and found a fuming doctor, frowning his eyebrows.
"Don't you two understand? You have to stay together all the time until you both heal!" he said as soon as they entered the room.
"Now.."-he continued-" I don't want you two to stay apart for any length of time. You must be resting and healing ALL THE TIME!. Don't stress yourself Miss Lawrence, you will need time to heal before being fine."
Rosalie kept quiet all the time. She didn't like people calling her weak. Her mind felt dizzier than ever. Her vision became blurry every second. She felt the pain crushing her. Unexpectedly, she passed out-in Robert's arms, the latter preventing her to get hurt.
"Like I said"-the doctor whisper-yelled-"She's weaker than you. You need to take care of her. I'm leaving. HEAL!" he commanded, walking out of the room.
Robert sighed, looking at the now passed out Rosalie. She looked beautiful. He carried her to her room and placed her softly on her bed before laying beside him. He surfed on his phone for awhile but the fragile figure of Rosalie made him stare at her.
She was pretty. Her chestnut colored curls falling on her face made her more beautiful. She was sleeping quietly. She didn't even twitch a finger. Their bruised hands were connected which made them feel warm.
When Rosalie woke up, there was no one beside her or in her room. What surprised her was the pain that she felt less now, though she wasn't healing. She saw Robert entering the room quite soon and she heaved a sigh of relief. She truly felt better with him.
"You'd been sleeping for 3 days" was the first thing he stated when he saw her.
Rosalie was shocked. Did he just say that she'd been sleeping for three days?!!
