"Anyone think this looking too easy?" Luca asked.
He, Varda, and I were sitting at the edge of the wooden platform while watching the recruits run around the large field we prepared for them.
It was already obvious that there were some exceptional people among the nearly thousand-man group. About a dozen or so recruits were running at the head of the pack while everyone else lagged behind them. There was quite a gap now.
At the very lead was the satyress, Val Redbull, General Redbull's sister. Interestingly enough, there was a white-haired kid running right alongside her.
"Are they really just supposed to run until they drop?" Luca asked.
"Yup," I answered.
Several dozen people had already dropped to the ground as this sprint around the hundred-yard field had been going on for at least thirty minutes.
"What happened to the battle royal?" Luca pressed.
