Chapter 15 - XV. Change The World

As the Frontier is moving through the warp jump, M'Khari and Celestine traveled back to the bridge. He opened up the monitor looked at all four of the items displayed there. Celestine looked at him, he looked back with hope.

"This is going to change my world" He said.

The Frontier finished the jump and they were near Sparta, M'Khari's old destroyed home. It was still round, but it had overflowing lava from its core. There are few tornadoes visible from the Frontier.

Within a few moments later D'Carki entered the bridge. She asked permission to enter and was granted.

"Greetings D'Carki, anything that I should know of?" He asked her.

"According to the long range scanners the council on board Splendor will arrive in the next fifteen minutes" D'Carki informed him.

"Excellent. Is there anything else you've picked up on the scanners?"

"There is a bug on the radar, probably a glitch. Do you want me to fix it?"

"No, send some technician to fix that. And while you're at it, please send out some analyst to examine the planet."

D'Carki nodded and talked to her radio shouting out a command as she walks out .

"Send out the analyst and technician to do their job." She ordered more but Celestine did not hear any of that as the door closes.

In the mirror there were about at least five crafts launched and hovered around the planet and stopped. A few were right in front of us while some were behind the planet, and a few select on the moon.

"Are those manually operated scanner drones?" Celestine asked.

"Yes. They can filter out this better than the programmed ones."

They looked at the screen as the pilots begins to scan, which the data is then transmitted back on the Frontier. They looked and saw all of the elements, chemicals, and other information vital to this procedure.

"Something is approaching this sector." A deck personal informed them.

"What is it?" He asked.

"It's the Splendor sir"

Suddenly the space which was silent became like a warzone as thunder cracks filled the area. A sudden wormhole emerges, then a gigantus object with chrome luster walks out of that wormhole.

"What the hell is that?" Celestine became worried.

M'Khari just smiled as the object slowly revealed itself. It was bigger than the Frontier. It looked like an air blimp, but instead of a large balloon it has what you could only describe as a nuclear warhead on steroids. Celestine saw the vessel and was filled with awe, she couldn't believe what she saw was real.

"There she is... The Splendor." M'Khari fueled Celestine's awe even more.

"Where did you get it?"

"We built it. It has the ability to make warp jumps without accessing any warp points"

"But how is that possible?"

"We have perfected a way to make our generator produce enough force to create a temporary control wormhole that could generate an artificial warp point."

As he looked over the windows to see the giant space he can't help but feel proud.

"Sir they're hailing us." The cadet informed M'Khari.

"Put them through"

The monitor turns on and it was the council sitting. M'Khari smiled as he looked at them.

"Hello M'Khari, we are sorry for the delay" A councilor said.

"It's okay sir."

"Well then tell me what do you need to do."

"We request to board your vessel and to use the Splendors turret and warp engine."

"Granted. The hanger is opened for you."

M'Khari wasted no time as he and Celestine walked into the Frontier's hangar. They saw D'Carki and Tves waiting for them. They already have prepared the ship, as they board it and moved towards the Splendor.

They entered the Splendor's hangar and it was like the Frontier's hangar but bigger. They disembarked on their ship and went inside the briefing room which was made as a temporary council room. As they entered the atmosphere was a little tense, this thing that they will do has never been done before.

M'Khari stepped in the room along with everyone on his search team. He looked at everyone and smile. Activating his holowatch he prepared his presentation.

"With all the items we've collected we will load it up to one of our turrets and use the warp engine to provide it the power it needs. The beam will be used as an improvised terraformer."

"How will this exactly restore our planet?" A councilor asked him.

"First we'll use the targeting system to locate the area and scan it for its gaseous element content, it then identifies what were the gasses that help the flora and fauna. Once it is identified, the machine will fire on the planet's surface and begin a conversion and reproduction of those gasses to make the planet breathable."

M'Khari walks over to the center of the room and opens up a new slideshow in the holoprojector. He flashes photos of all types of plant life, and some rodents. The council and Celestine were in a bit awe and dumbfounded by M'Khari.

"After securing the air to be breathable, we need to make sure the planet's surface is in premier condition. That is why, with a few select plants and rodents, we will drop a pod each comes with a farming drone. Once the pod lands it will remotely open to release the rodents and plant the plants. We will wait for about twenty minutes to see if the animals and plants have any violent reaction" He explain while gently guiding everyone of what will transpire.

The council looked at each other like bees buzzing. They looked at M'Khari like a child filled with anxiety. The council woman stepped forward.

"What if the animals and plants indeed had a violent reaction to it? What shall we do?" She asked.

"It's simple actually. We increase the intensity to let the beams reach the planet's core. Then we repeat the process of sending another pod to test out the surface."

"Well then. If that's so simple, would you lead us to our renaissance." The council woman smiled at him.

"Fire the warp engine and prepare the turret" He ordered.

The Splendor's engine revved. The engineers then activate the artificial warp point, as the wormhole begins to show they activate the turret that is modified with all the items. They aimed the beam at the planet. M'Khari ordered it to fire. They fired the turret, the blast reached the planet. On the surface the planet was not showing any effects but on the monitor it shows the planet's slowly changing.

Everyone on board the Splendor watched as their planet was being rejuvenated in their very eyes. It was filled with awe and pride, the council was surging with optimism, but unfortunately M'Khari wasn't. His eyes were void of joy, it was like staring into your deepest horror. The council was confused but they need not to ask because M'Khari shot one of the councilors dead.

M'Khari aimed his gun at the councilwoman. The tension went up when the guard council draw their guns at M'Khari showing him that he is out gunned only to find out it was the other way around as all of his crew and select members of Splendor pointed their gun to the council and Celestine.

The council woman stepped forward and demanded an explanation. M'Khari looked her in the eye.

"My reason is very simple. We have the power to change this universe to end all wars, to end all famine. All we have to do is rule them all... We need to show them that we are more powerful than before" He looked everyone.

"Is that why you've planned to restore our planet? As a statement." the council woman asked defiantly.

"Well I am not restoring our planet. I'm taking it from somewhere else"

"What do you mean?"

"This isn't a terraformer. It's a multiversal teleporter. I'm taking our planet from another dimension... Hopefully they'll share my ideals."

"Stop this at once" another counselor demanded him.

"I wish it was that easy, but you see in order for the transporter to stop is we need the master key, which was securely kept on our moon... but that was not there when we got there. Some space scavenger took it, and I heard he died today."

The council stood there frozen on the fact that another version of their heir planet will emerge. They hoped and prayed silently that the version that comes out is not what M'Khari is hoping.

Well if you thought that was bad, well, you should see my side of the story.
