*[SLIGHT GORE WARNING]*
Who new that the day Nathan would finally start getting his life together was the day the rest of the world would decide to start crashing down.
Nathaniel Abe has been a NEET for nearly the entire of his adult life, with no particular talents or interests he spent his time holed up in his apartment sustaining himself wholey on the monthly allowance his parents sent him. It's only when his parents decided to no longer send him allowance money, had he the motivation to crawl out of his den and into the real world.
His parents had arranged him a part time job in a convenience store where they were acquainted with the owner. He had attended some training the week before and that day had been his first official day on the job. He had decided to take take the night shift for a multitude of reasons with the main one being able to spend time with his handsome coworker who had assisted him in his training.
Customers had been especially sparse that night leaving loads of time for Nathan to spend time oogling and chatting away with his handsome co-worker, maybe even flirting a little!@? Time flew by until it was eventually time for them to close shop.
His co-worker was holding his hands showing him the buttons to close the shutter when a man started thumping his head against against the glass entrance of the store. He was dressed in ordinary salary man attire and both of them just assumed him to be drunk. When the man didnt respond to their verbal cues to politely excuse himself, his co-worker decided to take the initiative, maybe deciding show off a little bit who knows. He approached the man threatening to call the police if he didn't excuse himself that minute, he began reaching into his pocket but before he could even touch his phone the man pounced oh him giving an animalistic growl as he did so. His co-worker shrieked a pained cry as his blood spattered all against the glass of the stores entrance. Nathan couldn't look away from the scene still trying to process the shock of the horror unfolding in front of his eyes. What brought he back to life was the large thud as force met the glass entrance again this time followed by a small cracking noise. He also noticed that the man was no longer alone a crowd of similarly dead eyed people were gathering in his wake, that woke him up from whatever shock trance he was in as he furiously pressed the shutter button. The salary man tried one more futile attempt to reach toward the store front before Nathan heard a *crunch* as the shutter closed.
