Meanwhile, in the capital of Nictra.
Reclining comfortably on a large circular bed was a stunning woman with pitch-black hair and glowing red eyes. The elegant moonlight entering via a high window and highlighting the picturesque image on the bed. The woman only wore a black set of sexy lingerie that hugged tightly to the erotic curves on her body.
Sitting in the corner of the room sat another blonde lady who enjoyed the view before her while casually sipping a cup of steaming tea. Her long blonde curls cascading down past her shoulders, she had an almost naive air around her, though that could be deceiving.
"What's on your mind, Lana?"
The seductive figure on the bed arose and set against the headboard of the bed, her gaze wandering over to Ali before her.
"I'm thinking about how long it will take Kailen to finally get here..."
Lana complained while giving an exaggerated sigh, Ali took the gesture as a sign of concern as she began to comfort her quickly.
"I'm sure he will be okay Lana, though he can be quite foolish... Ah, I didn't mean to say tha-"
Lana interrupted Ali with a dismissive wave of the hand before replying.
"Ah, it's not that. I'm confident he will be fine... It's just things will get enjoyable here once he arrives."
"Confident? Forgive me for asking but... Why are you so confident he will be well?"
Lana's carefree attitude puzzled Ali, though she was like this by nature Ali knew that Lana had grown to slightly care for him. I realize he has potential, even I can see that but... that was a dragon y'know... The dragons were a race that instilled fear in all, therefore it wasn't surprising that Ali had her doubts.
"Well he and I are bonded, I would know if something were to occur. Besides it's impossible for him to fall here, fate wouldn't allow it..."
"Okay...."
Ali was left with more questions than answers following Lana's cryptic reply, she refrained from asking though knowing Lana would refuse to tell her anything regarding Kailen.
"Haaah, he really needs to hurry up... I'm starting to get bored, besides I need my shinning knight to drive away all the ogres."
Lana laughed mischievously thinking of the events that would occur once Kailen arrived, Ali sighed in exasperation.

The City of Lanza, Border to Cassar and Nictra.
It was early morning as the sun was rising over the horizon, an evening chill still present in the air. Near the main city gate toward the Nictra exit stood three carriages and a multitude of people double-checking the necessities. Kailen arrived walking towards the crowd gingerly, his wound was heavy and would probably take a few more days of healing before recovering sufficiently.
He spotted Celia near a grand and luxurious carriage that was to be pulled by two magnificent looking horses, the carriage was just asking to be robbed... Kailen remarked inwardly. He approached to greet Celia who was surrounded by four maids all very pretty dressed in black and white frilly dresses.
"Ah Kailen, there you are."
"Morning Celia, I hope I didn't delay you too much."
"Don't worry about it, it's fine. We had to wait for the supplies to be loaded anyhow..."
The four maids all turned and gave him a smile, they were all good-looking girls and the outfit further enhanced their impression. Looking over their shoulders, Kailen noticed Kenneth was waiting for him nearby yawning exaggeratedly.
"If you ladies will excuse me, I will be back later."
Kailen approached the half-asleep Kenneth, who was obviously there to see him off.
"Hey Kenneth, hows it going?"
"Ah, there you are. How are your wounds?"
"Sore, but it'll heal in a few days. Tell me what happened to Steve in the end?"
Kailen left early and missed the end of the events, one due to his wound and also because he was no longer interested. Though he was curious about how William had decided to deal with Steve.
"Well at the moment, he's been locked up in one of my fathers' warehouses. My father is currently busy taking over the void in the market now that Steves gone."
"Hm, that so? How does Nana feel about all this? Surely its become complicated now right?"
"Actually no, both Nana and her mother hated Steve. After years of abuse, they are finally rid of the scum. Nana was the one who initiated the contact with my father, which her father suspected all along."
It seemed Steve had what was coming to him huh... Though in all honestly, Kailen didn't really care about whether he deserved it or not. His thoughts were interrupted as one of Celia's maids approached and informed him of their departure.
"You heard her, it's time I'm off. I'm sure we will meet each other again soon."
"Yes, if you're staying in the Nictra capital I'll come to find you. I often visit there, with my father."
After saying their goodbyes the group departed from the city as a fairly large group, Celia's grand carriage was escorted by two large but fairly ordinary carriages. One which could carry supplies and the other which could transport the bodyguards accompanying the group.
Kailen was invited inside Celia's carriage to chat for a while so he had yet to meet his traveling companions, the journey towards the capital should last around a month so he should get to know them.
"So what's your plan when we finally get to the capital?"
Celia asked as they sat opposite each other with a small elegant table between them, two of the maids sat towards the opposite wall awaiting any commands their mistress would ask.
"I plan on finding the Oxford family and finding Lana."
"Lana Oxford huh..."
"You know much about her?"
Kailen asked curiously, while he spent a fair bit of time together with Lana he couldn't say he knew much about her. Celia seemed to be popular within the nobility from what he could gather so maybe they knew of each other.
"Of course, she is famous within Nictra. Not just because of the family, her beauty is unrivaled. She has many suitors, though the rumours are she's only interested in women."
Kailen could wholeheartedly agree on the first point, even though Celia was extremely beautiful Lana was otherworldly. Though the second point was obviously false, considering her actions towards him.
"Interested only in women? Really?"
