Kailen and Villith spent the entire day mating like dogs in heat, after several hours they fell asleep exhausted in each other's arms. It was the most pleasurable day Kailen could ever remember, his world view expanded thanks to Villith and her ancient knowledge. Though in truth he had no idea how old Villith was, he didn't know much about her. If he did maybe he wouldn't be so lax around her.

Villith was the first to awaken, as she opened her eyes languidly while yawning. A contented smile present on her beautiful youthful face, she lay quietly with Kailen seemingly lost in thought. Eventually, Kailen pulled her body closer and hugged her warm smooth body a lustful smile appearing gradually.
"What's the plan today?"
"Not a lot, today you will leave."
Kailen awoke at the unexpected answer bolting into an upright position.
"Didn't you want me to stay here?"
"Well, now it's time for you to leave."
Kailen could never understand her, first, she detains me here, then trains me, then sleeps with me and now I can go? He thought to himself. Though he had come to enjoy her company, he was quite happy to leave, to explore his newfound freedom. Though he expected their unspoken agreement would require him staying here much longer.
"Guess I wouldn't understand the mind of an ancient being such as her..."
He thought to himself, Kailen could think up a few possibilities for her actions though he quickly denied them. Kailen sat dazedly for a few moments before speaking.
"Well, I'm not entirely sure what to do now..."
"Didn't you agree to find that girl of yours?"
True he should go find Lana at the Oxford Family wherever that was. The only information he had of the Oxford family was that it was within the country of Nictra and they had major military influence there.
"Shouldn't be hard to find, I'll take some time to experience new things as I travel there."
Kailen was quickly excited at his foreseeable future and raised to his feet collecting his belongings. He turned and faced Villith while tying his saber to his waist.
"What will you do now?"
"I'll rest, expect me to come and find you in the near future."
"Don't you get bored?"
"Dragons are lazy by nature so not really... The only reason I was awake this time was that I was disturbed by those insects. Now get going."
A scowl had appeared on her face at the memory, it had been just over a week since the events that led to their meeting. Kailen hesitated, he didn't have much experience with goodbyes. He approached her slowly wrapping her with his arms and placing a gentle kiss on her lips.
"Don't tell me you really did fall for me?"
Villith asked with a shocked face, too which Kailen replied with an exhausted smile.
"I will see you again Villith."
"Of course! If you're still an ant by our next meeting I really will burn you!"
Kailen left through the dark cave leading outside with a smile on his face, he would meet Villith again of that he had no doubt.

Kailen made his way through the forest at a quick pace, he managed to find the area Lana, Ali and he had left the carriage. The carriage was gone, though he noticed a bag tied high up on the nearby tree. He searched through it and found some supplies, Lana must have obviously left them here for him. It consisted of a map and some dried meat that would last a while, with Villith they mainly ate things she hunted in the forest.
Kailen had no experience with hunting, an essential skill for surviving in the wilderness he'd learned quickly so these supplies really did save him. After throwing the bag over his shoulder he quickly made his way towards the country of Nictra, his week within the forest had allowed him to adapt, thereby no longer as uncomfortable as the beginning.
Kailen traveled for a week through the forest, sleeping at night high in the trees and covering himself with a yellow-colored plant that Villith had taught him would mask his smell. Eventually, he made it to the edge of the forest where a large number of trees were recently chopped. A sign of nearby civilization, according to the map he should be near the border town of Lanza. It was a large town where merchants would stop when traveling between the countries of Nictra and Cassar.
He approached a local lumberjack and asked for directions, finding his way he finally found the large bustling town of Lanza. There was a large river that divided the countries of Cassar and Nictra, this river splitting the town into two sperate parts. Once within the town, civilians could access either side as the whole town was surrounded by large walls only the exits on either side were manned by the different armies.
Kailen approached the large gate where a tedious queue was formed, he quietly joined the back and awaited his turn. It was finally his turn as he walked towards an armored man sitting at a small desk with paperwork before him, the man raised his head staring at Kailen with a deadpan face.
"Name, occupation, and city of birth."
Kailen's thoughts moved quickly as he heard the man, after all, he didn't have an occupation.
"Kailen, wanderer and the city of Cante."
The armored man obviously wasn't amused by his occupation, as his brows furrowed he waved his arm dismissively.
"Get the fuck out of the line, only honest working citizens can enter here."
"Sir, surely there must be some leeway right?"
"No, unless you can pay me five silvers you can piss off."
Kailen had some money that Lana left him, but that totaled at one gold coin. He couldn't afford to spend half here to please this asshole, Kailen thought angrily to himself. Using force was out of the question, he needed to pass through the city without being destroyed by the army.
Kailen stormed off with a scowl on his face pondering on his current options, he was spotted by a young man in the queue that watched him curiously. The man had short brown hair with a small scar on his chin, he was fairly handsome with a slim build. His thoughts were unpredictable as he approached Kailen with a friendly smile.
