"Did he leave?" Su Yanruo asked, leaning on the bed and looking at the passing clouds outside the window.
"No." Ming Xiaoyu shook her head.
"He's staying here until you are discharged and then he will leave," Ming Xiaoyu answered. "Don't worry. He said he won't appear in front of you and neither will he annoy you anymore. Your peace won't be destroyed by his presence."
Su Yanruo nodded.
She sighed, in a dazed look, and looked at the passing clouds. She was expecting this outcome and he didn't disappoint her. She was happy that he respected her choices instead of acting like a scumbag and doing the opposite of what she wanted. At least, he proved himself to be a man of his words. But, at the same time, why was there a feeling of sadness emerging in her heart? Why does it matter to her whether he was there or not? Isn't this what she wanted? She wanted him to stay away from her and now, he was doing that. Then why did it hurt so much?
